Scarlet walked off the porch and immediately sensed something. It wasn't good. It was like some type of warning or a call for help. She ran to the bridge as fast as she could. What she found made her want to drop to her knees and cry. There she saw Max on the bridge ledge about to jump to his death. Scarlet quickly ran up to him with tears running down her face,then slowly disappearing. "Don't. Don't do it Max. I love you." she said. Max screamed "No! I will not let you get inside my head! No! No! No! I love you but i'm not letting that stop me! You're not real!" Max was losing it. Scarlet didn't think she could pull him, she didn't think her hands would grip she thought they'd just slip through. However, they didn't. Scarlet pulled Max down and he fell to the ground with her. He was safe in her arms. She sat there on the ground with him lying on her shoulder as she stroked his hair,leaving her other arm wrapped around him. "Shhh,Max it's okay. I love you. Don't worry about anything. Nobody is going to hurt you. I'm here." she comforted him as he was crying and shaking. The thing was,how did people react when they saw Max just randomly fall from the bridge? They didn't. Apparently Scarlet had the power to make herself look like someone she was not. Scarlet looked like his mother. Although, Max knew it was Scarlet. Max and only Max. "Just hold me forever. Forever. You can't let me go, you can't trust me. Like I said when we met, i'm insane. Even if I don't want to at a certain moment, I will take my own life. So you have to protect me." Max said while crying. Scarlet stripped a tear off her face,"I can't hold you forever but I promise to protect you and hold you in my heart forever." Scarlet paused for a moment then whispered "Don't worry because Max, you're safe and sound."
