I rub my temples and arise from my seat. "Jasper! Get out!" My sister flicks my ear, and purses her lips. I shake my head. "Huh?" I manage to mumble.
"The airport! We're right by the airport!" She exclaims.
I look around. I see people walking around with suitcases, and planes heading off. Definitely the airport.
"Come on, come on!" My sister yells. She yanks me by the arm as I reply.
"Fine," I say.
I go to the trunk, and grab my luggage. My sister, once again, pulls me until I fight back. I guess I'll give her what she wants. I shove her into the trunk, close the door, and lock it. Finally, some peace and quiet. I hear the doors unlock, and a door open. I sneak around to the other side of the car.
Emma was trying to scare me, so she jumped out screaming, making everybody in the airport lane stop in their tracks. A weird girl screaming and tackling at nothingness? Not something you see every day.
I jumped out at her, turning her surprise attack against her, and making her fall over in surprise. Suddenly, our mother's voice broke the confused silence of the airport. "GET OFF THE FLOOR, AND GET IN THE AIRPORT!!", hollered our mother. I glance at my mother, shocked, then I slowly follow Emma into the large entrance.
We wait a few hours, and I decide to go and get some snacks. "Don't get lost!" Said Mom.
"Don't worry, I know my way around!" I hollered back.
I run to the snack shop and grab chips, a few Twix bars, and a bottle of Mountain Dew. This should hold me over for the 5 hour flight.
"Attention, the plane at gate 6B has arrived early, and will be taking off momentarily."
I couldn't remember-was my flight 6B or 6D? 6D, I think. I bought my snacks, and ran to gate 6D. The flight said San Francisco to Dallas. I stopped in my tracks, turned around, and bolted all the way to gate 6B.
"Sir! This is my flight!"
"Sorry kid, but you need a ticket."
"My parents have the ticket! They're on the plane!"
"Sure, kid. You're probably some runaway wanting to get away from town."
"NO! Those are LIES!" I slapped the man, and bolted into the extendable hallway, to end at fresh air. I peeked out, to see a plane taking off. I felt large hands seizing my scrawny arms and say "You are under arrest for assault and trespassing. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." Suddenly, with a blunt hit to my head, everything went black.Emma's Point of View
As Jasper went to go get snacks, an announcement was shouted through the speakers.
"Attention, the plane at gate 6B has arrived early, and will be taking off momentarily."
"WAIT!" I shouted.
"What, kid?"
"My brother isn't back yet!"
"Kid, look around. Nobody cares."
The man dragged me onto the plane, my parents following, a somber look pasted onto their face. I did what I would do on any other plane. I found a seat, buckled up, and pulled out my Kindle Fire. I opened Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse, and started reading.Pilot's Point of View
The takeoff was nice and smooth, and everything was nice. When the Hawaii islands came into view, I noticed something different. A wave coming towards the shore from about two miles away- but it was getting bigger. This was no ordinary wave-this is a tsunami. I let go of the controls. I was mentally incapable of doing it. Everything was going blurry. I could hear a scream, but I couldn't bring myself to do anything. All of a sudden, a force knocked the plane back and the plane was engulfed in water.
