How can we learn if we have school staffs (teachers, principals, and other administrators) worrying about what we wear? If the parent let their child/children walk out of the house with a certain outfit, then obviously it should not be a problem. What students decide to wear should not have anything to do with learning and getting an education. School is suppose to be a place where learning is fun, right? Well how can learning be fun when we have administrators worrying about what we wear instead of worrying about what we learn, then wonder why people drop out and don't want to come to school? If a student cannot be comfortable in what they wear or the environment they are in, then why should they show up and be judged? We all don't have money to keep buying school uniforms every because we've outgrown the ones from the year before. No point in wasting money like that when there are clothes in our closet we could wear. Whether administrators know it or not, there are students that express themselves through the way they dress. Not everybody wants to be like everybody. We go to school to learn so that we can get an education and graduate. Not to be judged, mistreated, misguided, or put down by administrators. Adults need to stop putting young people down and start building us up into better leaders. We are suppose to be learners of today and leaders of tomorrow, but we cannot learn if there isn't anyone here positive minded enough to lead us.
