The Downfalls Of This Generation

"Friends"

There's a huge difference between a friend and an associate. An associate is some that you associate with only during school or someone you only speak to and hold small conversations with. On the other hand, a friend is someone you can trust and tell secrets to. Someone that's loyal and keeps it real. A friend will be there for you when no one else is. True friends don't talk about each other behind each other backs and if they do then they should be real enough to repeat what they said behind your back to your face, or else they aren't your friend. All friendships go through it but only the real and strong ones will come through it. If you're having a problem or don't like what your friend is doing, then you should tell them. Don't go behind their backs discussing them and their flaws because that'll only make you fake. What goes on in a friendship should stay between that friendship. Keep outsiders out of your business and leave them guessing. It's okay to have more than one friend but don't leave the other one out. Treat them the way you want to be treated. Treating one better than the other will only create fuel to a fire that could've been avoided. Never forget who was there for you when times were tough. You should be able to shine with the same friend you struggled with. If they weren't there when you starved, don't let them come in and eat while you leave the one that was there for you to starve. Just because you dislike or hating on the same person as another, don't make you friends. Ya'll just so happen to have something in common, BEING A HATER! Moral of the story is know who riding for you and who free riding off of you. People will stop fooling with you when it's not beneficial to them. Stop hitting people up, go M.I.A & need help... That's when you'll find out who your true friends are. Don't beg NOBODY for no friendship because this isn't an ass kissing world and you shouldn't kiss nobody's ass for a friendship. If anything give them your ass to kiss and keep it moving. You can do bad all by yourself. Friends come and go but only the real will remain.
