A CRISS ANGEL--*SCARY STORY*

**CHAPTER 10**

Meanwhile back at the group, they were all heading towards the stairs that led back downstairs. The closer they came to the stairway, the further the house would move it away. It was half an hour before Klay realized the house was making them walk in a neverending circle, never getting closer to the stairs. Criss decided to try his mind, body, and spirit connection and his ability to create kinetic energy to use against the evil entity. Criss closed his eyes and pushed towards one of the walls. After a while, the wall disappeared, and they were in the downstairs kitchen. Criss told them, that the house was playing mindfreaks on them, they were already downstairs, the house just didn't want them to know it. The entity didn't know what to make of what Criss did...Criss's ability made the kitchen safe for them to stay in... They all finally got to eat and have fresh water. After Criss had the main group safe for the time...He decided to go out and find Sully, and the others, hopefully before something bad happened to them...Kc grabbed him and told him, he wasn't going without her.

Klay didn't like the idea at all, but Kc refused to let him leave without her. Klay also new that Kc was really falling in love with him. Criss didn't want her to leave the safety of the kitchen, but he wasn't going to hurt her, by telling her he didn't want her with him...beause he really did want her. So they both left the kitchen and headed back up the stairs. With Criss using his special abilities, they made their way through the house alot easier. Once they were on the 3rd floor, the house locked them down no matter how long they walked down the hall, they never moved forward...the entity, kept them in front of the same three rooms. Criss used his special senses, and found 4 people locked in one of the rooms....he made a sigh of relief, thinking he found his friends...when they walked into the room, they were both shocked to see 4 people, they never seen before....the woman ran over and hugged them both with hysterical tears of joy, telling them how happy, she was to see living people, that could get her and her husband, and 2 sons out of this hell house...Kc was leary of them, but Criss hugged her, and said we can't leave anyone behind...so Kc agreed to let them join them. Right off Criss didn't like the way one of the guys was eyeballing, his girl. The woman told them her name was Helen, her husband Earl, and her 2 boys Doug and George. Helen told Kc they have been locked in that room for months! The house wouldn't let them leave. Suddenly Helen screamed! And said why aren't we leaving!? That way goes deeper to the evil heart of the house! We all have to get out!! Criss turned on Helen, and told her he wasn't going anywhere, til he finds his friends...Helen didn't say another word after that.
