Well let me start off by saying this is a messed up love story but very romantic.There is a girl who's actually an adopted child and doesn't know it. Her adoptive father gets re-married and the wife he marries has thiteen son's and now is grateful she finally has a daughter. Now even though their not related a huge love story develops. Ps. Oh I forgot to mention the adopted daughter has a pet squirreI/chipmunk. It's more funny in the dub version than the sub version, but it's just my opinion so don't hate me for it or anything.
