Amethyt's pov
I woke up to the sound of the warp pad. "Who would be on a mission this late?" I questioned in my mind. I got on realizing whoever went out went to the kindergarten. Just then I heard a loud screen. I large gem monster about as big as lion had jumped out from a cave. I tried to summon my whip but I was to late. Just then everything blacked out.
Your pov
I came out from the cave with my notes. I was studying this gem monster when I lived in my other area. Thankfully the gems also had a warp pad so I could continue my studies. I heard it scream along with another gem. Just then I ran out of the cave with my( w/n) and hit the monster. It saw me and attacked. It charged at me. Lucky enough for me I had jumped to a wall. I jumped of and struck it. However it had other ideas and cracked my gem before I could get it. The monster had poofed and I grabbed it's gem. I saw another also cracked. I realized it was amethyt's gem. I grabbed her gem and rushed to the warp pad. Just before I could run to tell the others I had tripped and dropped one of the gems cracking it right down the middle. Thankfully I didn't shatter it. It was the monster's gem. Still weak from getting my gem cracked I lay there hopelessly. Just then one of the doors opened.
