Chapter 2 - Poison
"So, what do you think?" Zeke asked while eating his pasta. "What?" Crystel asked. "Do you think I'll be a great drummer?" Zeke asked again. "I don't know, you have to work hard to achieve what you want to be, it's on you." Crystel answered slowly. "Yeah, you're right, I think I'm going to be a very successful drummer, unlike my brother." Zeke said while looking out the window.

"Zeke huh, interesting" Nate mumbled to himself. He picked up his trumpet and started to play 'Godfather Theme' loud and bright in his band room alone. He played it with his eyes closed like it was his last time to play a trumpet.

"Bye, thank you so much." Zeke yelled while waving to Crystel. They went back to their home separately. "What a day." Zeke whispered to himself. "Yeah, probably shouldn't tell my family about it." Zeke thought to himself. He went through online and listen to some jazz, he were so excited about tomorrow he didn't even realised he turned the volume to maximum. He was literally bombing the house with jazz. He fell asleep without having his dinner.

The next day, Zeke biked to the band room, he walked in and he saw there were plenty of kids his age roaming around. "Hi" An Asian showed up and said hello. "Hi...." Zeke replied. "Why so cold haha, call me Chun." Chun said with joys. "Ohh, sorry about that, call me Zeke" Zeke replied nervously. "So, what instrument do you play? I'm a drummer." Chun followed up with his introduction. "Re..really ? I am a drummer too, well, not yet..." Zeke asked sadly. "Why not yet?" Chun asked curiously. "I... I never play drums before." Zeke answered with tears in his eyes. "Hey, hey, don't cry. Look, if you have a heart of a drummer, you are already half way there, so basically you are a drummer now, silly." Chun told Zeke with a warm smile on his face.

"Let me show you the drums." Chun told Zeke while leading the way down the hall. "See, go on and try it." Chun said while pointing the drums right after him. "Hmm, how do I play?" Zeke asked slowly while holding the drumsticks tightly. "Try some single stroke on the snare drum." Chun told him nicely. "Single what? I don't know, sorry..." Zeke apologised. "Oh it's okay, I'll teach you, we still got like 30 minutes before the practice starts." Chun said.

30 minutes passed by, Zeke already handled single stroke, double stroke and a simple groove. "Wow, you're a natural, Zeke." Chun said surprisedly. "Haha, thanks but I'm not." Zeke replied with a little confident. "Mmhmm, so we got a new drummer today, Zeke." Nate told everyone in the band room while walking in.  "Be nice to him ya."

"So, we are going to play 'Upswing Cabin' open up, please

"So, we are going to play 'Upswing Cabin' open up, please."  Nate told everyone. "Now, Zeke watch Chun and learn." "1,2,3,4." Nate conducted the band as they started to play.

"It was amazing! They are so good!" Zeke told Crystel on the phone after he got back home from practice. "Haha, nice, how about you? What did you learned?" Crystel asked. "Oh yeah, I met this Asian guy Chun, he taught me a lot of things about drums." Zeke answered. "That's nice, Zeke, mmm look I've got to go, talk to you soon." Crystel said nervously. "Are you alright?" Zeke asked. "Yes I'm jus...bye." Crystel hung up the phone.

"What happened to Crystel? Never mind, there's practice tomorrow, gonna sleep
