Chapter 3 - The Chinese Boy
"Yo, 'sup." Chun showed up again. "Hey, how are you?" Zeke asked with a relief face. "Well, not bad but not great either." Chun replied with a smiley face. "Emm, no offence, but are you a Japanese?" Zeke asked curiously. "Haha, no I'm a Chinese." Chun replied while walking back to the band room. "Oh, so how does it feels like? Being a Chinese?" Zeke seemed to be very interest with the whole Asian thing. "Well, we eat puppies, babies and.... Look at your face, haha, I was joking, we are just the same, we are all human." Chun laughed while pointing at Zeke face. Zeke was stunned, his face turned green. "O..oh... I thought you... you were serious..." Zeke stuttered.
Everyone sat on their seat waiting Nate to come, *bam* the door opened "Okay, we are going to play some easy songs, Zeke on the drums please." Nate told everyone while taking his black coat off. "What, I can't, it's only my second day." Zeke whispered to Chun. "It's real simple, trust me, Nate know what he's doing." Chun patted on Zeke's shoulder.
"Okay, let's see... Open up 'Billy Jean' please. Zeke what are you doing, on the drums, now!" Nate said. Zeke get on the drums, holding his drumsticks smoothly, like how Chun had taught. "Just read the sheet and follow your feeling, it's real simple." Chun gave Zeke his last tips.
"1,2,3,4" Nate conducted with the perfect tempo as they started playing the song 'Billy Jean' "b-t-k-t-b-t-k-t..." Zeke started to play on Nate's beat. Nate nodded to Zeke and gave him a it-is-good look. Zeke finally got his confident back, he played louder, and finally the perfect volume for this song (f).
"I told you you are a natural, boy." Chun complimented Zeke. "Haha, I guess." Zeke smiled. "OK dismiss." Nate yelled a little bit. "Zeke, you stay."
"Oh shit, what did I done?" Zeke thought to himself again. After all the others went back home, Nate told Zeke to sit down. "Hey, you did a pretty good job, played drums before?" Nate asked curiously. "No, Nate." Zeke answered. "Holy shi...sorry, then you must be a great drummer." Nate said while smiling. "I guess, haha." Zeke replied. "Yes, power, I know it's great, but be careful, don't get drunk in your power, practice more, there are still spaces to improve... A lot, bye bye now." Nate showed him the exit. "Yes, Sir, I will. I mean Nate!" Zeke saluted to Nate."I must tell all of these to Crystel!" Zeke whispered to himself while walking back home. "The person you are trying to reach is not available, please...du-du-du." Nobody picked up the phone. "I wonder where the hell Crystel is." Zeke thought to himself. He decided to go to her house and check, nobody was there. "HELLLOOOOO CRYSTEL." Zeke yelled to Crystels window. Nobody answered neither. He saw a letter on the door mat. He picked it up.

Dear Zeke,
I'm sorry, but I've moved because my dad apparently found a better job in Washington. Sorry I didn't talk to you about it on phone, I was scared. I don't know what to do. We will keep in touch on Facebook, okay ? I'll be doing fine, I hope you're doing fine in the band too. Goodbye, love you.
Sincerely,
Crystel***
"Oh no, what the hell?" Zeke said to himself, he seemed upset. "I need to go to Washington" Zeke said to himself again. When he got back home, he told his mom about it. "Oh, Crystel huh.... Wait what are you going to Washington all by yourself? Are you out of your mind? No way, you can't" Zeke's mom told Zeke. "But mom..." Zeke said. "No but, you can't, go to your room now I'm busy." Zeke's mom scolded.
"Never mind, I will just go by myself without their knowing, they don't understand, it's not their friend, they just don't understand." Zeke mumbled to himself while packing things for Washington. It was 3a.m, Zeke sneaked out from his bed taking his luggage ready to go. He opened the door, and headed towards the nearest train station.
"Chun?" Zeke saw Chun sitting on the bench looking up the stars. "What are you doing here?" Zeke asked. "Hey, drum buddy, I'm just looking at the stars, how stunning they are." Chun answered while still looking at the stars. "How about you, it's 3a.m, why are you here?" Chun asked carelessly. "Well, my friend moved to Washington, I'm going to meet her." Zeke answered. "At time like this? It's 7 hours distance from here, man. Are you going alone?" Chun asked curiously. "Yeah, I guess, my parents doesn't know about it." Zeke said. "Oh, sneaky beaky, can I come?" Chun asked excitedly. "Well, sure, but are you sure? How about your parents?" Zeke asked. "Ay, they don't care, they probably think I'm sleeping in the band room right now, I did that a lot." Chun said happily. "Man, why did you do that?" Zeke asked surprisedly. "Well, practice my drums of course, stupid neighbour here will just complain about it, so I rarely play drums in my house." Chun explained. "Ahh, right, 'the noisiest instrument' they say." Zeke rolled his eyes. "Haha, they just don't understand, well what are we waiting for? Let's go." Chun pushed Zeke lightly. "Wait, what about your luggage?" Zeke asked. Chun pulled out his wallet "Well, I got this, I'm all set. Let's go!" Chun answered as they heading towards the train station.
