(Gabrielle's POV)
I smiled, and plugged my phone into the charger. They were finally going to talk to each other! "Finally Mrs. Maria! Things are working out." I softly whispered to myself, and smiled. Just as I was about to hop back into bed, my phone rang, loudly may I add. "Hello?" I answered. "Hey gorgeous!" Nick's voice came from the other line, making me smile. "Hey Nicky! What's up buttercup?" I asked, rummaging through my drawers. "I was wondering if I could stop by really quick? I have something for you." He said. I could hear the smile in his voice. "Uh, sure! I'll be waiting on the porch for you." I smiled. "Awesome. See you then!" And then he hung up. I looked at myself in the mirror and groaned. I had on baggy sweatpants and a t-shirt. My hair was in a knotty ponytail. Just as I was getting ready to fix myself, I heard a door slam outside. "Shit." I mumbled, and ran downstairs. Just as I reached the door, the doorbell rang. I tried to make myself look decent, but gave up, and opened the door. Nick stood on the other side of the door, a pink, rectangular box in his hands and a smile on his face. "Hello!" I smiled, and let him in. He set the box on the table, and grabbed me in a bone crushing hug. "How are you beautiful?" "Tired." I laughed, rubbbing my eyes. He laughed, and kissed my forehead. "Hungry?" I nodded, and rubbed my stomach. He smiled, and pointed to the box. "Open it." I smiled at him curiously, and pulled the top up. "Donuts!" Nick laughed, and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Read what they say." I read across the Donuts, and felt heart rise in my cheeks. Across them in icing it said "Will you be my girlfriend?" I blushed, and looked at Nick, who was now smiling down at me. "So?" I nodded rappidly. "Yes!!!" "HELL YES!" Nick smiled, and picked me up, spinning me around in happiness. He set me down in front of him, and placed his hands on my waist. "I promise, I'll be the best boyfriend ever." And with that, he connected our lips. I smiled, and let him go. "You better get going cutie." He nodded, and kissed me quickly. "Can I look forward to hanging out with my beautiful girlfriend later?" I laughed and nodded, then shooed him out the door. The smile on my face grew even bigger. Today is perfect...
