(Chris's POV ; Later that day)
"So, he took my advice?" I smiled at Gab, who was telling me the story of how Nick asked her out. "I guess so." She laughed, going through my closet. "Are you ever going to pick something?!" I laughed, playing a game on my phone. "Hey! Cut me some slack. This is a whole new world for me." She said, pushing yet another shirt to the side. I sighed, and stood up, looking down at the text Drea had sent me:
Can't wait to see you! We've got a lot to catch up on. Does pizza and salad sound good? Because that's what my mom made (:
I smiled and sent her a reply. My stomach rumbled at the thought of her mom's cooking. Gab laughed, and threw clothes at me. "Get dressed. Drea's waiting!" I laughed, and hugged her. "Thank you so much!" "No problem bud. But I swear, if you hurt Drea again, I will kick your ass. Don't think I won't." Gab said, in all seriousness. "I won't I promise. Now go be with your boyfriend! I'll text you later on how things go." I smiled. "Alright! Bye Chris! Good luck!" And with that, she walked out. I quickly showered, and put on the outfit Gab had chosen. Skinny jeans, a black t-shirt that showed off my muscles, and black and white Vlados. I softly spiked my hair, and sprayed myself in Drea's favorite Axe cologne. I looked at myself in the mirror, and smiled. I looked good. "Mom! I'm ready." I said. She smiled, and we went out to the car. "So, you're finally hanging out with Drea again!" "Yeah, I'm really excited." I smiled, the heat rising again in my cheeks. "I'm happy for you sweetie. You really like her, don't you?" My mom asked, looking over at me at the red light. I nodded, and smiled. "She's special. Mrs. Maria was right all along." My mom smiled, and put her attention back on the road. It wasn't long before we arrived at her house. I thanked my mom for the ride and let her know when to pick me up, then walked up to the front door, and knocked. The door opened, revealing Drea on the other side. She looked gorgeous. "Hey Chris! Come in." She smiled. I walked in, and smiled at her. "So, what's up?" She locked the door, and looked at me, a smile playing on her lips. "Oh, nothing much. You hungry?" I nodded rapidly, and she laughed, and walked me to the kitchen. She made us both a plate, and we sat on the counter next to each other in silence, eating until we were stuffed. After we finished, I helped with the dishes, and we sat together in the living room. Mean Girls was on the TV, but honestly I wasn't paying much attention to it. I kept sneaking glances at Drea. She caught me, and blushed, muting the TV. "Okay, so, I think now would be a good time to talk." I nodded, and faced her. "I just wanted to say, I'm sorry for everything. I was a stubborn little bitch, but hey that's me. I hope you can forgive me?" She said, nervously gnawing on her lip.I smiled, and nodded. "I am sorry too, though. I told you how I felt... I didn't mean any of it..." She nodded, and then the room filled with silence again. We both happened to look up, and into each other's eyes. Something about the moment was perfect. I decided to take a chance. Without second guessing myself, I leaned in, and connected our lips...
