8am the next morning and its still dark outside but me and Josh are up and dressed (well I am). It's our first day at Hollyhead high and I am really apprehensive. We are getting the train to school and its a half an hour ride so we have to leave soon. Josh hurry up!" I hear him mumble something about 5 minutes, so I go into the living room to say goodbye to Aimee. Sarah and Daniel have meetings today so the boys said that they would 'look after' Aimee. When I walked into the room they were spread out over all the sofas watching sooty (puppet show). I smiled as I saw Aimee sitting on Harry's knee and engrossed in the TV, I call Aimee's name and she starts looking for me. I wave and catch her eye then she starts giggling. Louis puts her on the floor and she crawls over to me. I lift her up, kiss her cheek and she rubs it off so I pretend to be hurt and she kisses my cheek so I smile. Finally Josh comes down saying that he's ready and Niall says "give the princess to me" I smile and hand her over to him and me and Josh eventually leave for school.
The closer we got to the school, the more daunting it become. We went to the front office to collect our timetables, locker numbers and then we were on our own. I wouldn't even have Josh in any of my lessons because he is in the year above. For Josh's sake I hope the students at this school don't go on first impressions because gay and emo don't exactly always make a good first impression. Most people ask me if it bothers me my brother being gay and honestly It doesn't because at the end of the day its love. I find my form room and give a slip to my teacher, she nods and points to a seat at the back next to a girl. "So does the new girl have a name?" I smile and reply "Yeah it's Layla, nice to meet you" "she smiles and says "I'm loving your accent! where are you from?" I tell her that I'm from Los Angeles then we spend the rest of form time talking about different things and she introduced me to her two friends Neveah and Arianna. The girls seemed really nice which was fortunate because I had a lot of classes with them. Most of the teachers at the school are really pleasant so the lessons fly by. However at the end of the day I was ready for the bell to ring so I could go home.
I used the train ride home to do my homework and as me and Josh opened the door to the house we were bombarded with questions about our day. I looked at Josh and then at the mad people in front of me. As Josh started talking about his new band some of the lads in his year were starting, I looked at Niall and mouthed "Help!". He slyly put his hand out to me, I took it and we both ran into the living room then locked the door. I smiled and tried to catch my breath. "Thank you for saving me from those people" He smiled "Anytime Layla" I looked at him and he looked so adorable and innocent, it was time to tell him. "Niall...I know you like me" He blushed and looked away, then we heard a loud bang on the door and four British/ 1 American guys shouting at us. He sighed and turned back to me "be ready at 7 on Friday" I nodded then he went and unlocked the door and left the room.
Friday night it is.
