Ugh! another school day that I have to endure. I look at my clock and notice its 5:30am, I felt like I have only had five minutes sleep, even though I went to sleep at midnight after talking to Niall for an hour on Skype. I got up, showered and dressed within an hour so I even had time for breakfast today. I said goodbye to Aimee and me and josh went to get the train at 8am. When we arrived at school Josh noticed Hayden and I saw the girls so we parted ways, the bell rang for first lesson so we went to our lockers to retrieve our textbooks unfortunately someone had come to greet us. "Good morning ladies" he said cheerfully as he came up behind us. "What do you want Verona?" I asked as I grabbed my bag and started walking to class "Hey I was just trying to be nice" he exclaimed. "Nice isn't in your vocabulary" I shot back and carried on walking "So I hear your brother and that Hayden guy are dating" he said whilst trying to keep up with me. "Even if they are what has it got to do with you?" I asked stopping and looking at him. "I'm a respected student at this school and I don't want those two ruining that!" I rolled my eyes and shook my head at him. "Listen to yourself! you're not respected, you're feared at this school!" I knew a crowd had formed around me including Josh and Hayden, I could hear the girls shouting at me and telling me to let it go but I couldn't because win or lose this argument I had to try. "Why am I even answering back to you? you're just a girl" He said nastily, as he went to walk away I couldn't stop myself and shouted "Ooh did you hear that everyone? Verona called me a girl I'm shaking in my boots" Everyone laughed and he stopped and slowly turned around and shouted "You need to realise this is my school Layla" I smiled and replied "You need to realise this is not your kingdom and we are not your slaves" He groaned and walked off. There was something about Verona that made me curious, I wanted to hate him but I just couldn't. It scared me that people said there's a thin line between love and hate. The school day went quite quick and people I didn't even know were congratulating me on my argument with Patrick. When we got home Daniel told us that the boys had song writing to do so they were at their complex. instead I completed my homework, took a long bath, texted the girls before falling asleep watching the soaps in bed.
