Jessica was in her living room pacing back and forth. He had told her to dress comfortable so she had no idea what was planned.
She was new to the whole dating thing so she had her best friend Joy and little sister Mahogani to help her out. They dressed her and applied her make-up.
They chose for her to wear an over-sized yellow sweater with dark washed blue jeans that had small rips around the knee and cheetah print slide on sneakers. She didn't wear a lot of make-up so very little makeup was applied. Just a little eyeliner, some lipstick and her hair was brushed into a top knot.

"Sit down or I will strap you to that chair and he will see you like that when he walks in." Mahogani demanded. Jessica huffed but complies with her sisters wishes anyway.
The clock struck 8:00 pm and on the dot, there was a knock at the door. Jessica froze and just stared at the door.
"It's alright to enjoy yourself once in a while."Joy told her giving her a little push from behind.
She took a deep breathe and opened the door coming face to face with Grayson. He was wearing a grey V-neck sweater with a button up underneath, dark washed blue jeans, and Sperry's.
Immediately his cologne wafted into her nostrils sending her into a trance. She hadn't even noticed the gifts he had in his hands. He cleared his throat and his eyes flickered back and forth from her to his hands but she wouldn't look.
"I'm not falling for that again." She chuckles but stood her ground. He finally realized what she meant and let out a chuckle as well "No, no no. It's not like that. I have gifts." He says lifting his hands to reveal a single long stemmed rose, a small box of chocolates, and a small teddy bear.
She felt the blush creeping up her neck, If only he knew the affect he had on her. She couldn't believe this total stranger made her feel so nervous but so aroused all at once. He handed her the gifts while giving her a small smile. She returned his gesture with a small smile of her own.
"Ughhhhhh, just go already. Nobody wants to watch you two make googly eyes all night." Mahogani complained.
Jessica sucked her teeth before smiling at Grayson "Shall We?" She questioned shyly. "After you beautiful." Grayson replied motioning his hand outside to let her walk out first. She blushed and walked out or the door with a polite thank you. Grayson followed behind her closing the door as he came out.
He jogged a little to reach the car door, so he could open it for her. She took her seat and he closed the door behind her. Grayson Jogged around the car as Jessica reached over and unlocked the door for him to get in.
He opened the door and smiled at her.
"What?" she asked giggling slightly.
"Nothing, you're just a keeper that's all." He said back chuckling himself.
