"Dammit. You incompetent woman." Grayson spat out at her. He had become furious in a matter of seconds.

She bent down in front of him with a napkin. "Oh my gosh. I am so sorry I didn't mean to do that. I am so terribly sorry. I just have this tendency to mess things up and this just happens to be one of them." She was ranting.

But instead of being annoyed at her like he would anyone else. In just a flash the anger was gone. Instead it was replaced by him smirking with a single eyebrow raised in amusement.

She noticed his silence and looked up from wiping the drink off of him. He shot a look down to where her hand was. She pulled back and gasped. A slight blush crept up her neck onto her cheeks. It was actually quite amusing for Elijah to watch.

He cocked his head to the side and teased. "Why did you pull away so fast? Was it not to your liking?" A panicked expression crossed her face and she ranted again. "Gosh no. I wasn't saying that I do like it- I mean it's nice. I mean-ugh. Forget I even said anything. I'll get you another napkin and another drink." She turned stalking off her face still a shade of dark red as she retreated into the kitchen.

He sat back content with how he had such an affect on her. This would be fun for him he thought to himself as she returned with his drink and a spare napkin.

"Your food will be out shortly." She said not giving him a second to reply she turned on her heels and made her way back to the kitchen.

Grayson was curious about the girl who had spilled his drink all over him and then made him hard all in the course of a couple minutes.

How could he not be intrigued?

She was beautiful.

And so, just so different.

She came back with a plate in her hand this time Grayson joked with her. "Do I need to cover myself so you don't burn my member downstairs" He chuckled. She tensed at his word and began to blush again.

He loved to see this woman so affected especially because he made her feel this way. Something about her was drawing Grayson to her but what.

Why?

••••••••••••

It had been about a week since Grayson had seen Jessica. Ever since that day he felt like he needed to see her again. He had to see her again.

He was losing sleep over those beautiful brown eyes. They were a chocolate like color, he didn't even like chocolate but he could stare into them all day.

He didn't know how but he would see her again. Some how some way he would see her again.

The intercom broke him out of his thoughts about Jessica. "Mr. Crenshaw, You have a woman here to be interviewed for you're Personal Assistant position." The woman from reception's voice came through.

"Send her up." He spoke into the intercom leaning back in his chair.

••••••••••

It was 6:30pm and Jessica was just getting home. She had bags of food from the restaurant for the kids.

"Jamie can you go upstairs and bring the twins down for me please." She yelled to her oldest daughter while walking into the kitchen. She placed the food on the counter and set out plates.

"Mama, Miss you." Jessica's four year old Jasmine ran up to her hugging her leg. Laughing Jessica picked her up and rubbed her nose against Jasmine's. "Mommy missed you too baby." Jessica cooed hugging Jasmine close to her and then placing her in the chair.

"Mamiiiiiii!" Jahmin yelled at her running full forced. Jessica bent down picking him up spinning him around "Hi baby." Jessica sang as she placed kisses all over his face before seating him next to his sister.

Jamie walked in plopping down across from the twins. Jessica walks around the table placing a kiss on her head and then messing up her hair. "Mom! Stoooooop." Jamie whined as her mother giggled.

Ding!!!!! Ding!!!!! Ding!!!!!

The bell rang bringing them out of their family moment.

Jessica walked over to the food containers calling to her daughter. "Jamie, Can you-"
"-already doing it." Jamie got up huffing before walking out of the room.

"Mom, it's some guy he says his car broke down. And wants to know if he can use our bathroom." Jamie yelled back to the kitchen. "Hold on Jamie, I'm coming." She said making the last plate.

She washed her hands and rubbed them on her pants to dry them while walking into the living room. She stopped in her tracks as soon as her eyes met his. She felt her neck heat up, betraying her as a blush crept onto her cheeks.

She stood dumbfounded for a minute trying to figure out how of all the places he ended up at her door. He cleared his throat making her snap back to reality.

"Uh, yes come in. The bathroom is down the hall, the third door on the left." She told him pointing in the direction of the bathroom.

~ Earlier that morning after the interview he conducted ~

" Winston." Grayson spoke into the speaker phone with urgency. "Is everything alright Sir? Do you need me to come upstairs." Winston replied ready to run up the stairs if need be. "No! I need you to find someone." He spoke while tapping his fingers on his desk.

"Oh." Winston replied in a surprised tone. "Who? Sir."

Grayson tapped his fingers faster as he released a slow shaky breathe. "The waitress from the bistro I stopped at about a week ago. Her first name is Jessica. That should help you somewhat. Find her home address as soon as possible." Ending the call before giving Winston a chance to reply.

He spun in his chair facing the Windows. He stared out at the city before him as he relaxed into his chair.

This was risky but definitely worth a shot.

Within minutes his phone was ringing again, with Winston's picture popping up. He answered it with an urgency that he never had about anything before. Quickly placing it to his ear he spoke. "What did you find?"

He could hear Winston clicking away on the computer to pull something up. "Jessica Stone. 28 year old waitress. Currently looking for a second job. She didn't goto college for reasons unknown. She lives in a 4 bedroom house, a couple blocks from the bistro. Born to James and Lilliana Stone. As in stone magazine who we have been trying to get into business with for years."

Grayson let out a breathe. "Did you get a specific address?" He huffed becoming annoyed.

"675 9th Street in Miami Beach, FL the zip code is 33139" Winston spoke back to him.

"Thank You. Have my car ready by 6 I have somewhere to be." He replied flipping the pen in his hand before scribbling her address onto a sticky note.

"Okay Sir, is that all?" Winston asked.

"I almost forgot, Winston.... Is she m-ma-married or in a r-relationship of some sort?" He spoke his grip on the phone tightening.

"No, she is not sir." Grayson let out a breathe he didn't realize he was holding when Winston answered him. He hung up feeling content with the knowledge he had just recieved.
