They were all on the plane and were all looking through the file again when Garcia appeared on the laptop screen. She looked saddened and spooked all at the same time.

"What did you find, Garcia?" Morgan asked and Garcia looked at the records.

"Alright, so all the children who were taken, are in foster care for multiple reasons. Amanda had been in foster care since she was 4 because her parents died in a drunk driver accident. Tommy had been in foster care since he was 7 because her mother was deemed criminally insane and his father was dead. Kimberly has been in foster care since she was 5 because her parents divorced and her mother was abusive and dad was a drunk. And Ash has been in foster care since he was born, dropped off at the foster home when he was 1 year old in a basket." Garcia said and Spencer looked over the file.

"Alright, so we know their all in foster care, but that's all that's common with them, unless we're missing something." Morgan said and Spencer's eyes narrowed. Morgan looked at Spencer, wondering what was with the sudden narrowing of the eyes.

"Reid? Is something wrong?" The agent in charge asked and Spencer looked up, then shook his head.

"No, Hotch. But I did figure something out." Spencer said and organ stared at him.

"What did you find out?" Morgan asked and Spencer looked at them all.

"They all have the same hair, skin, and eye color." Spencer said and they all looked to see he was right. They did. They all had pale skin, white hair, and brown eyes.

"Morgan, JJ, you will go talk to the families. Reid, Rossi, you go to the crime scene. Prentiss, and I, will go to the headquarters and talk to the Sheriff." Hotch said and they all nodded as the plane landed.

--

Reid and Rossi appeared at the latest crime scene and looked around. They were over at a ditch near a lake. Reid looked at the spot where the body had been dropped off and slowly made his way down. Reid then took a look around.

"I can't see anything because of the slope, so no one would be able to see the body if it was on the ground, at least, not unless someone had walked straight up to the edge and looked down." Reid said and Rossi looked around.

"It's the ideal place to dump a body, and not get caught. This UnSub's smart, smarter than most." Rossi said and left the area. Reid looked at the upwards slope and his mouth went in a straight line. He wasn't even suppose to be on active duty, let alone climbing.

His eye twitched as he thought of the pain coming his way for going up this slope, but he sighed and climbed up, knowing full well that Rossi would leave him if he didn't hurry up.

--

At the second to latest crime scene, it was the exact same, only the slope was steeper, Reid slid down and looked around. He didn't know why he insisted that he go down the slopes in the crime scene, and why Rossi didn't join him down there.

"I'm not able to see anything at all, but there seems to be an opening that's just deep enough and large enough to hide a body or something similar to it." Reid said as he looked at the hole. He climbed inside of it and stayed still.

"Can you see me from there, Rossi?" Reid asked and Rossi looked around, he couldn't see reid at all.

"Nope, can't see you. This is the perfect place. Though it's close to street, it has a hole where someone can hide a body that no one will see." Rossi said then walked away, leaving Reid to climb out of the hole and ditch. It was times like this that Reid wished he had been paired with Morgan...

--

At the first crime scene, the slope was so steep that it was pretty much a cliff. Reid jumped down and let out an inaudible hiss from the pain of his protesting knee. He then got up and looked up, but could not see Rossi.

"This is the perfect place no matter what. You can't see anything here and it looks like a perfect place to hide something." Reid yelled out and Rossi hmm'ed.

"It looks like our UnSub started out cautious, going from places that no one could see, like here, to places that they could easily see from the top, like the latest one. He started out cautious, and slowly got arrogant when no one caught him." Rossi said and Reid continued too look around. Rossi then left the scene and Reid heard his footsteps.

When he could not hear them anymore, he groaned. His leg was going to kill him for doing this to it, Reid just knew it. He walked over to the wall and tried, unsuccessfully to climb up. After the 9th try, he made it up and looked for the van. He groaned again when he realized that Rossi had left him here.

Reid pulled out his cell phone and looked around for a signal, but there was none. And the Headquarters were 10 miles away.

'Might as well get this over with...' Reid thought and got up, limping back to Headquarters.

--

2 hours later and Reid had only gone 2 miles. He had had to stop many times before his leg gave out on him. Reid considered hitch hiking to Headquarters, but rulled against it. He was an FBI agent, and he needed to have some dignity, right?

It took him another 2 hours to go 2 miles and by now it was midnight. Reid sat on the dirt floor, holding his leg. It felt like someone was ripping at the skin with dirty cat claws. But Reid took a deep breath, got up, and continued walking.

--

It was noon when Reid finally got back to Headquarters, and he knew that he looked like shit. He went to the team and everyone stared at him, probably wondering where he had been. Reid glared at Rossi, who looked surprised by what he looked like.

"Thanks for leaving me at the freaking dump site, Agent Rossi." Reid spat at Rossi and they all looked at Rossi. He put up his hands in defence.

"I didn't think it would take you so long to get back." Rossi defended himself and Reid glared.

"Now cause of you, I'm going to have to use the fucking cruthes again, you selfish bastard! Why the hell did you make me climb a fucking cliff and then make walk fucking 10 miles! It took me nine fucking times before I actually got out of the ditch!" Reid yelled at Rossi, sitting down and wincing at his protesting knee. Morgan walked over to him.

"Let me see your knee." Morgan said and Reid lifted up his pants to show the knee. They winced at it. It was red and swollen, and had a bit of blood going down the leg. Morgan glared at Rossi while Emily went to go get the bandages and JJ to get a pair of crutches. It was even getting a little infected already. Emily wrapped up his leg and JJ gave him the crutches. He got up using them and glared at Rossi.

And for once, Rossi actually looked apologetic.
