Coffee Shop - RAURA

Chapter 1

Ross POV

I woke to the sound of an annoying alarm clock.I shuffled in my bed until I got enough of the annoying dinging noises. I slipped my feet off the bed, and they hit the cold floor. I turned off the alarm clock (boy, my ears were thankful) and walked over to the bathroom and did all my morning stuff, then, slipped into this dumb uniform I have to wear for work. I put on my shoes, take a cup of coffee, then headed for my car. I drove downtown to where the coffee shop. That's where I work at, if you didn't already know. 

I walked over to the cash register, and waited for the manager to flip the closed sign so it says OPEN. The beginning of the day passed by quickly with a bunch of teachers, parents, professors, and even teens coming in, buying a coffee, and going. I then noticed that it was 4:30, meaning that there was only half an hour left of my shift. I stood up, waiting for the next customer. I look up, and see a short petite girl walking up to me.

"Hi, what can I get you?" I ask as she looks at the menu above me. She had the most beautiful chocolate brown eyes I have ever seen. I smiled at the fact that her head wrinkles when she thinks. 

"Ummm, I'll have a vanilla bean frappuccino, please. But go easy on the sugar, I'm not supposed to have that much." she replied.

"Why, do you get too hyper?" I joked, making her giggle, let me say it was cute. Then, she shook her head, no. I had the cup in my hand, and wrote down the order... and 'Ross Lynch, call me at ***-***-****' She giggled again, and took the coffee out of my hand. She handed me a five dollar bill, and walked out. 

I looked at the clock. 5:00. My shift was over, but I got to talk to her for 30 minutes. For some reason, I wanted to know her better. Then, I shrugged the feeling off, because why would such a beautiful girl like her want to even call a random guy working at the coffee shop flirting with her? 

I walked out of the coffee shop, and drove back home.
