Me and the guys were still walking around, bantering about. "Why the hell would you paint a dick? Out of all things?!" Ethan laughed. I shrugged. "I mean. We have no room to talk about painting dicks. Have you seen our 'Draw My Thing' videos?" Vik asked, chuckling. I raised an eyebrow at them, confused. I had watched some of their videos, but not much. "Besides Harry. Because he doesn't even upload." Simon smirked. I giggled a little, that was a joke I somewhat understood. "Can we go swimming? It's hot." I heard Josh ask. "I can't swim." Tobi joked, pushing Josh lightly. JJ laughed loudly, along with Ethan. Their laughs could be heard over everyone else's. After it all calmed down, Simon leaned in closer to me. "Maybe I'll finally get to see that tattoo." He said, squeezing my hand quickly. I shrugged. "You can see some of it. Right there." I heard Harry say behind me, poking behind my ear. "But I want to see all of it." Simon said, looking at it. I sighed. "Me too." JJ agreed. Now, all eyes were on me, but j kept walking. "Tinker?" I heard someone say behind us. I only knew of one person who called me that. My first real boyfriend, Allan. We had dated for a year, and I ended our relationship after he ratted me out for drug dealing, something he introduced me to. He ratted me out to save himself. I stopped walking and slowly turned around to be met with his familiar smirk. "Well I'll be damned." He said, shaking his head. "That's the second time we've heard that today." JJ said, holding back a laugh. "What the hell you doing back in town?" Allan asked, ignoring JJ. "Just visiting." I shrugged. I hadn't had a complete conversation with him since our break up. Every time we talked, it turned into an argument. "So you're living in London now, huh?" He asked, sizing up all of the guys. I nodded, squaring up my shoulders. He smirked. "Mackenzie, want to introduce us to your friend?" Simon asked, squeezing my hand a bit tighter. Allan noticed this, and his smirk grew. "We're not friends." I said. "Oh, Tinker. You think your boyfriend would appreciate you lying to him? It's okay, dude, she did the same shit to me." He said. "Shut the fuck up Allan! We're not friends. I'm not lying." I said, getting angry. "Oh really. So they know about your little 'issue'?" He asked. "Shut the fuck up." I snarled. He was the only person that knew about my cutting, other than Lane. When we were dating, we referred to it as my 'issue'. Which is what he was doing now. "Do the police know you're back in town? After that stunt you pulled before you left, I'm sure they're not happy to see you." He said. "I actually just talked to-" "Gentlemen, it was a pleasure speaking to you. Even though this little bitch didn't introduce us. I hope she is truthful with all of you in the future. I gotta run." He said, interrupting me. He turned on his heel and walked away. I stayed where I was, staring at the spot where he once stood. I was passed. "Mackenzie, who the fuck was that?" Vik asked. "Just some dickhead I used to hang out with." I rolled my eyes, turning back around to face them. "Why does he call you Tinker?" Tobi asked. "My tattoo." I answered. "What issue was he talking about?" Simon asked. My throat tightened. This was something I didn't speak to people about. I just didn't. Even if I didn't do it anymore, I still couldn't talk about it. "It's nothing." I replied a little too quickly. I knew he didn't believe me, but I think he understood I didn't want to talk about it in front of everyone. "Why aren't you guys friends anymore? He seems like a great friend." JJ said sarcastically. "Ratted me out. He was the reason for my first drug possession charge. Ratted me out to save himself. Pathetic." I said, shaking my head. Ethan laughed lightly. "Why're you laughing?" Harry asked, pushing him. "It's funny." He shrugged. "I'm still stuck on the fact that he called you a bitch." Josh said, shaking his head. Simon's hand left mine and his arm went around my shoulders. I smiled at the affection, looking up at him. He smiled right back down at me. "He's a dick. It's what he does." I said, looking back at Josh. "Should we get headed back? It's getting a little late." Vik said, looking at his phone. I nodded and we continued walking in silence, just listening to each other's footsteps. Nothing needed to be said, so nothing was. It was nice, especially after today. After seeing Allan again, I definitely needed a nice silence with my new friends and family. Yeah. I think I like family more.
