*Mackenzie's POV*

"Fuck off." I groaned at whoever was shaking me awake no was laying on my back, like I have been since the accident. I heard Simon's laugh. "C'mon. We're going to be late for the doctor's if you stay in bed." He said. My eyes fluttered open, slowly but surely. Simon was laying beside me on his side, facing me. "Good morning beautiful." He whispered, pecking my cheek. I turned to him, smiling. "Let's go." He said, hitting the bed with his hand and sitting up. I sighed, not wanting to move at all. But, as soon as he reached my side of the bed, he held his hand out for me, which I took unwillingly. He pulled me out of bed. "Get ready." He said, pointing at me before walking out of the room and shutting the door behind him. We were about to go get my stitches out, which I was very excited for. It still hurts, but not near as bad as it did before. Simon still comes in every morning to help me out of bed. Which, I don't mind, but I feel like I'm bothering him sometimes. I looked into the mirror in my bedroom. My hair was in a messy bun and I was wearing one of Simon's Nike hoodies with joggers. I didn't necessarily feel like getting dressed all fancy just to go to the doctor, so I went to my closet and got out a black pair of ripped skinny jeans and just left the hoodie on. I slipped my phone in my pocket before going to the bathroom. I used the toilet and brushed my teeth and hair, pulling my hair back in a messy, loose, French braid. I didn't bother with any makeup and just went downstairs, where Simon was waiting for me in the kitchen. "Not going to put an actual shirt on?" He asked as I opened the fridge, getting out some yogurt. "Nah." I said as Simon handed me a bowl to put the yogurt in. He smiled at me as I made my breakfast and sat down at the island. "Ready to get your stitches out?" He asked, taking a sip of his tea. I nodded, looking out of the window behind him. He nodded in response. "I think Josh and Vik are bringing Kay and Freya home with them tomorrow." He said. "Are we going to tell them? About us?" I asked, looking at him directly. "I'm sure JJ already has. But we can if you want." He said. I smiled at him and he returned it.

"So, what do you want to do now?" Simon asked as we got into the car. I got my stitches out and I was released to work out as much as I wanted to. It still hurt, so I doubt I'll be working out like mad within the next few days. "Ice cream? We can go to the park and walk around?" I asked, looking out of the window at the parking lot. "I'd like that."

"What's your favorite movie?" Simon asked me. "I can't pick a favorite." I said, thinking. "C'mon, there's got to be one movie that you are very happy that you watched." He said. We were walking through the park, eating our ice cream, just like we had planned. "Well, I like that movie Walk the Line." I said, taking a bite of my ice cream. "Never even heard of it." He said. I stopped walking and put my free hand on my chest dramatically. "Never? It's about Johnny Cash and June Carter!" I said, catching back up with him in a few steps. "Mackenzie?" A voice came from behind me. I turned around to see who it was. I was met with a set of eyes I never thought I'd see again. "Holy shit." I whispered. I felt Simon's eyes on me, waiting for me to do something. To at least tell him who I was looking at.  But I wasn't ready to admit it to myself. Let alone Simon.

OOOHHH. Who do y'all think it is? Tell me I'm the comments. I'm sorry this is short but I'm sick and this is all I could come up with. I may have a double update today IF this chapter gets at least 7 (lucky number) votes. If it does get 7 votes and I don't do a double update today, I'm very sorry but, like I said, I'm sick and yeah. If I can't get the second update up today, I'll do two tomorrow possibly. Anyways, I hope you all have/had a great day!

See ya! x
