Alex's pov.
I walked to Jakes room and asked him if he was going to eat. I woke up early today. It's monday. So that's pretty much a miracle that happened just for me. I woke up at 6:30 and took a shower and got ready for school.
Alex: Do you want to eat?
Jake: Yea please
Alex: Alright the food will be ready in 10.
I walked downstairs and saw Maddie, our maid, cooking.
She's more family to us than a friend or a maid. She's been here since i was 4 and she has taken care of the whole family since then. She only works and the weekdays and she has the weekends for herself because we all go out on the weekends.
I walked over to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
Alex: Hi maddie.
Maddie: Hola mi niña. You're up early. How did you sleep?
Alex: I slept great. You?
Maddie: I can't complain.
She's a hardworking Mexican and I love her so much. She's like my mother.
Maddie: Is Jay going to eat mija?
Alex: Yea he'll be here in 10 minutes.
Jake came down and we ate and I got my things for school. Jake has school until 9:20 so he still has time to get ready. I have school at 8:25 which sucks.
I said bye to Maddie and Jake and got in my car and drove to school. When I got there I still had 20 minutes to spare.
I got out of the car and walked to the front of the steps. I looked in front of me and saw some people in the hallway. Mainly the kids who are reading or play pokemon cards and shit.
I walked to my locker and people said hi to me here and there. I said hi back and put my books and my bag in my locker. I decided to be nice to day. It would be a good change if i was nice.
But to be nice, there's only one person who can help me.
Sabrina
I walked back to the front of the school and sat down in a bench on my phone. Bad decision. There were the jocks who had just arrived walking towards me. I looked away and rolled my eyes.
They continued walking my way and Grayson sat down next to me.
Grayson: So babe-
Alex: It's Alex not babe.
Grayson: Princess, why deny our love for each other.
Alex: Boiiii, you tripping. The only thing you'll get from me is my foot down your throat.
I stood up and started walking away while i heard his friends telling him he just got ruled by a girl.
I walked to the front steps and walked to my locker and got my book and my phone for first period. Sabrina came running towards me and hugged me.
Alex: Someone's happy.
Sabrina: Prom is almost here!!!!
Alex: Oh yea I totally forgot about that.
Sabrina: Sooo, who you going with??
She smiled at me cheerly and she was g iving me a smirk.
Alex: I'm not going with anyone. I don't even know if I'm going to go dude.
Sabrina: No you have to Alex please come on. It won't be fun if you don't go.
Alex: No cuz I'll have to wear a dress.
Sabrina: Soooo, you'll look gorgeous on a beautiful dress. Please go..
Alex: I'll think about it.
I closed my locker and looked at Sabrina..
Alex: I have no one to go with so that's a negative point on your side.
Sabrina: I know someone.
She smirked at me and I laughed knowing who she was thinking about.
Alex: Who are you going with? Oh watch out watch out! will it be Manu? will it be Manuel? Stay tuned to find out.
She started laughing with me and hit my arm.
Sabrina: He hasn't even asked me.
Alex: Well i mean, you guys are dating, he doesn't exactly need to ask you but it would be nice.
Sabrina: It would honestly. I'll be back ok i have to return this book to the library.
I hate the library. It's so quiet. Too quiet. Sometimes I think it's haunted because when I go, i hear something and check who it is and no one is there.
She started walking to the library with her book in hand and I grinned.
Alex: Be careful with the ghosts honey.
Sabrina: Sure will.
I laughed and she continued walking and I turned the other way. There, next to neighboring locker, stood Dylan against another locker.
Alex: Well hello there.
Dylan: Shut up. Do you like Grayson?
Alex: Woah. chill. Why?
Dylan: He told me you liked him.
Alex: Well tell the bitch that I don't and to get over himself.
Dylan: Will do. Are you going to prom?
Alex: I don't know. But I don't think so. Are you?
Dylan: I don't know. It's like social suicide.
Alex: Oh right? You don't go to this social suicidal events.
Dylan: Yea but some friends are so i might go.
Alex: Yea. Do you know if Manu is going to ask Sabrina to prom?
Dylan: Yea he's doing this big thing to ask her out.
Alex: I knew it!
Dylan laughed and arched his head back. That was so hot i was about to faint.
Alex: Did he tell you what he was going to do?
Dylan: Yea he's going-
I couldn't hear him because the bell rang and he started walking away.
Dylan: I guess the world doesn't want you to know!
He walked away and I laughed.
Alex: Jerk
I said it hoping he wouldn't hear but oh surprise, Dylan has the ears of a bat.
Dylan: Heard that babe
