I got this idea from the video :3

Alfred laid on his bed, flat on his back and staring at the ceiling. A gaunt feeling of loneliness haunted his abdomen. He blinked slowly. I wish we could see each other more often...

He turned on his side, and looked down on his phone. What time is it in Japan if it's 12:00 in the morning here? He wondered. The last time I checked, if it was 5:00 in the morning here, it would be 4:00 in the afternoon there, so that's an eleven hour difference...

So it must be 11:00 there...

He sighed and stood up, maybe a little bit too quickly; it didn't really matter at the time. He paced around his room a little bit, the feeling still stuck in his gut. I wish Kiku could stay here, or that I can stay there. But we have fun at both places! He sighed and looked out his window at the busy city of New York. Can I live without this? And can Kiku live with this for the rest of his life?

He sighed again and laid down on the floor. Why is that dude so stuck in my mind anyways? I've lived with Arthur practically all my life and never had this feeling! I've known Matthew and Francis for such a long time too, and I don't feel the same way about them like I do with Kiku.

He sat up and looked at his window. Sometimes I don't understand life. Nah, nevermind. I never understand life. He sighed...again. Forget sleep. I'm calling him.

He stood up and walked over to get his phone on the bed, feeling like a child waiting for cookies to bake. If it's 11:00 there, then Kiku would be long awake. He thought to himself as he scrolled through his contacts.

     'Keeks 🍙🍣🍙'

He smiled like a dork. Keeks is a derpy word, but I love it! He ended up staring at the phone for a solid two minutes, then proceeding to call him.

"Hello?" The Kiku answered on the other end in his usual accent.

"Hey Keeks!" Alfred said joyfully and flopped down onto his bed.

"Alfred, what are you doing? It's 12:17 'o clock," Oh Kiku, "You should be asleep by now."

Alfred chuckled, "I couldn't sleep. What are you doing?" He asked, sounding like a six and a half year old.

He heard Kiku sigh, softly, "Im on a plane. It's landing soon. Now, actually. I have to go."

"Hey Keeks wait!"

*click*

"Hello?" Darn. Right before I asked where he was. Kiku didn't normally go on plane rides for fun. Is it fore business? Maybe with Ludwig in Germany.

Wait...

Alfred looked at his clock. 12:17. A smile slowly crept onto his face. Why didn't you tell me, Keeks? He hopped off the bed happily and picked up his phone again. He looked down at it. It started to ring, showing a picture of a derpy Kiku from when he forced Kiku to wear makeup, saying that it was 'part of his culture.

Alfred answered the call, "Hey Keeks!"

"Hello Alfred, sorry I had to hang up earlier." He apologized.

"Nah, it's no problem dude!"

"Im up in Canada, with Matthew. My boss wanted to visit since he said something about 'maple syrup tasting better straight from Canada', and you know how unreasonable he can get."

Oh... Of course he wasn't in America; he would've told him first! "While you're up there, tell Mattie I said hi!" He said. "Wait, no, can you tell him that I said the pickles are gone? Don't ask."

He heard Kiku chuckle, just loud enough so he can hear it. "Alright. So why are you up this late?"

Alfred smirked, "Don't you mean this early?"

     "Alfred, no. Please."

"No reason. I couldn't fall asleep."

He heard Kiku sigh, "Are you thinking about the Revolutionary War?"

     "What-no!"

     "World War Two?"

"No, Keeks, I ain't thinking about any war!" He said truthfully, "I just can't sleep!"

     "Are you depressed?"

Alfred thought for a moment, "No? I dunno. I just can't sleep."

There was a few moments of silence before Kiku said, "Did you run out of pickles?"

What? Alfred flopped down back on his bed, rolling around in a laughing fit, then proceeding to fall to the ground, "How did you know?"

     "Your message to Matthew."

Oh yeah, that. "Can I ask you something?"

     "What?"

Alfred smirked, "Can you call me Alfie?"

"What do you mean?" Kiku sounded confused.

     "Call me Alfie!"

     "But, Alfred-"

He cut him off, "No, don't call me Alfred, call me Alfie! Just once, please?"

     Kiku sighed, "Well..."

     "Pleasee?"

Kiku took a small deep breath, "Alright, Alfie." Alfred smiled, He sounds so derpy when he says that!

"Hey Kiku, who are you talking to?" Alfred heard Kiku's boss.

"Ah-no one!" Kiku responded, "I have to go, I'll talk to you later, Alfie."

He said it again! "Okay Keeks, see you. And thanks!" Before he accidentally says anything stupid, Alfred hung up. He was still on the ground, but his blanket and pillows fell with him. He hugged one of the pillows tighty. It's a beautiful world indeed.
