Chapter 3: Mark and Maddi

Maddi: well this is my house. I think my brother and sister are sleeping, but my dad will be up. My mom will be back soon is that okay?

I grabbed his hand and walked in usually I would knock but everyone was sleeping so I just walked in. I was mark standing in the kitchen with my dad it looked like they were eating. I shut the door slowly and walked In.

Jims pov:

After I brought Zoe to bed. I heard a knock on the door I opened it expecting Maddi and Elizabeth, but it was mark. He said where he was staying is the area that exploded and that commander Taylor told him to ask if we had any extra blankets, so he could sleep in a tent. It wasn't really a tent it was a bunch of sticks with a blanket on the top and sides, (so like a teepee) I figured he probably boy hasn't eaten much and I had just cooked some chicken fettuccine, so I invited Him asked him to stay for dinner.

We were talking when I heard the door open I couldn't see who it was, both mark and I stood up. Maddi walked in with a little boy. I thought 'oh great' we don't have any more room. I knew exactly what Elizabeth was doing.
Mark got up and walked over to Maddi and Maddi have him a hug.

Maddi: umm this is Jono and he is going to be staying with us, I guess. Mark could I talk to you for a minute?

I walked hand in hand with mark to my room, I wanted to ask him about Ashlyen but I didn't want to be rude. He looked like he knew something. My dad kept a very close eye on us walking. I turned around and look dad was just standing there and the boy looked terrified.

Maddi: oh my gosh, I am so sorry jono, this is my dad jim, he's going to help you get settled in and I will be back in a quick minute.

I turned back around and mark was already in my room he was standing up straight next to the wall looking scared.

Maddi: you want to sit down!

I let out a chuckle. He was always so polite.

He sat down and he looked really nervous.

Mark: so ummm what did you want to talk about?

Maddi: oh ya um I chuckled I got loss in his  Big bright blue eyes.

Maddi pov.
I sat there for a minute embarrassed I think he could tell. He grabbed my hand and scooted closer.

Mark pov.
It was awkward for a second she was just looking at me. Finally  I asked her what she wanted to talk about. And she turned her head down and let out a small laugh, her face turned red she looked embarrassed, so I grabbed her hand and scooted closer.

So I'm a lot better at creative writing where I'm wrong my own thing. Writing this story is difficult cause I have to make the characters the way the writers made them. I also have to follow a certain story line and since there wasn't many seasons of this show it's even more difficult cause you don't really know the characters personality and everything. So if something doesn't seem like that character I'm sorry😓
