Maddi pov:
As we were walking I saw many deep holes that is going to take days to completely fill. The houses were somewhat damaged, and since we will not be getting materials from 2149 anymore we are going to have to find different things to use. There were many people standing around looking at the sky and the camp. We walked around for a while until I bumped into someone. I looked down and there was a little boy, he was about Zoe's age. He was covered with dust and dirt., He looked like he had not showered for days, he had Blonde really long and messy hair. His hair almost looked a grayish Color because it was so dirty. His clothes were all ripped and he was as skinny as a stick. Mom and I both kneeled down to his level.
Maddi: Hey, Who are you buddy?
He wouldn't say anything. Most of us know each other, and I had never seen him. Maybe he was one of the sixers.
Mom: hey it's okay I'm Elizbeth and this is my daughter, Maddi. Where are your parents?
Boy: she will be back.
Mom: what is her name and I can see if I can find her?

Elizabeth pov:
I know I have not been her long but everyone around her is practically family we all know each other, but I have never seen this boy in my life. He said his moms name was Ashlyen I had never heard of an Ashlyen. (Ash-lee-Anne)
I asked Maddi to walk the boy to our home, I had never gotten his name. He looked shy at first but then he opened up. I walked to commander Taylor room to see if he knew anything, I didn't really want to wake him, but I figured he would be up due to such a long day. I was a little upset Maddi and I didn't get to talk. I have been really busy with taking care of patient, worrying and have been really distant.
Maddi pov:
Mom asked me to take the boy to our house I love helping people, but we don't have much room so I hope commander Taylor will find somewhere to put him for the night. As I was walking home it was really silent.
Maddi: so I'm Maddi, what is your name?
Boy: jono (jaaa-no)
Maddi: that's an awesome name I like it. I have a brother, his name is Josh, and I also have a sister and she is about your age, how old are you?
Boy: 4
Maddi: my little sister is 5. So she's just about a year older than you but that's okay, I think you will get along great.
