Bang....Bang....Bang!

"Come on Ace you gotta move faster than that!" I yelled at my younger brother Ace, while shooting rubber bullets in his direction.

He was breathing heavily since we had been going at it for at least 30 minutes. "You didn't even give me a warning!" He yelled while pushing his mid length, sandy blonde hair out of the way.

"Neither will your opponent." I urged. I watched with intensity of each of his moves, analyzing them and then soon breaking them down.

Sending my last two bullets his way, I shoved my gun back into its holster and prepared myself for his attack. To say the least my little brother was fast, fast but sloppy. I quickly dodged his quick punches and leg swiped him, making a loud thud sound when he landed. He groaned, but quickly staggered back into his feet. He took in another deep breath and started coming at me again, throwing numerous punches, he let his guard down when he let his left arm cling to his body. I smirked and quickly sent a left kick into his ribs making him grunt causing the wind to be knocked out of him, falling straight on his back this time, I made sure he wasn't going to get back up.

"You have a lazy left arm, never let your guard down." I stated while adjusting my clothes.

"Yeah, yeah I'm working on it." He said while I offered him a hand onto his feet.

"Take care of yourself, I'm heading down to the southern border to make sure everything is under control."

With a small nod to each other, we went our separate ways. I took the usual path through the woods staying consumed in my thoughts. It was nice, having a moment to think. I could hear the birds singing the little tunes of high pitched melodies. It quickly became short lived as I heard a small twig break and stopped walking, tuning in on my surroundings.

"Hide and seek isn't my favorite game." I stated, speaking clearly.

Three shadows moved extremely fast between the trees around me. I mentally cursed realizing I ran out of bullets messing around with my brother. Even though they were rubber they would at least slow these bastards down.

"Tag is ours!" They sang, as they came closer and closer.

I don't understand why but I froze. They seemed to keep singing a low tune that instantly irritated my entire body.

"Move Arabelle, move!" I heard my sister Amber yell in my direction, allowing me to block out whatever they kept singing.

The shadow came at me quickly and sharply. The moment it came close enough to touch me, Amber sent two pure silver bullets making him hiss and move back. I lifted my right leg and kicked him hard in the chest, knocking him into the tree behind him. I looked to my left and realized Amber took out the other two vampires and was walking in my direction. She stood right by me and pointed the gun right between his empty eyes. He smiled weakly on the ground looking only at me.

"Who sent you here?" Amber questioned.

"Such a broken girl, lost girl, poor girl. Always abandoned, never loved. She knows, she knows, she knows." He whispered. His eyes only boring into mine, even then he seemed lost.

A lost trapped soul that thirsted for any pain it could muster. He was once a human, all the Crazies were once human. But unfortunately when a thirsty blood eater wonders it's way into your life, it completely drains it from you.

"Answer the question." I stated sternly.

"Such a broken girl, lost girl, poor girl! Always abandoned, never loved. She knows, she knows, she knows!" He sang once more.

"Kill him." I directed towards Amber.

I stood up and continued my way down the path, as three loud gun shots echoed through the woods. I through my blood red hair into a high pony tail and fixed the necklace around my neck.

"Hold up Arabelle!" Amber yelled, jerking me around with her hand. She stared at my facing giving me a look of questioning, I could see the heavy concern swirling throughout her big brown eyes. She threw her chestnut hair behind her as she crossed her arms.

"I could have handled it." I shot.

"You froze."

"Yeah whatever, I could have handled it myself."

Turning my back towards her I picked up my pace on the trail eventually leaving my sister behind. I ran into one of the southern head quarters, opening the door roughly.

"How many trespassers today?"

"Five including the three that came your way." Ivan stated.

"You sent Amber didn't you?"

"It looked risky to let you handle it on your own, three crazies you never know." He explained.

"Were any humans killed?"

"Nope, and no one saw or suspected a thing."

"Good, these vampires are getting bolder."

"Here." Ivan said handing me a gun. I scoffed and made my way back towards the house.

Now sitting on the front door steps I saw a moving truck and I assume a new family was moving in. The sun was now setting so I could only barely make out the people across the way. I made my way over to the family to introduce myself, as I got closer I began to get this weird feeling in my chest. Shaking it off I poked my head into the garage. Suddenly a boy turned around almost instantly, his eyes, his piercing blue eyes, struck into my soul. My breath was caught in my throat and I took off running towards my house.

"This can't be" I thought.
