The Speech

We were at the Capitol and of course, even if I wasn't going to show my face with Bull, I had to look pretty.

Except you are going to show your face.

I was going after Bull and would make a speech about desegregation. It wasn't exactly part of Bull's plan but whatever.

I was alone in a small room. I sat down on a chair and turned my head to look at the door. Alex enters the exact second I turn.

He gives me a small smile. "I um wanted to say something, before we go on stage.".

I nod my head and wait for him to say what he needed to say. What is wrong?

"I feel as if something bad is going to happen sometime soon and if something does I want to do this.".

He walks over to me, pulls me up, and kisses me quickly. He walks away as if nothing had happened.

I stand there for a moment. I shake my head. We'll talk later about what just happened.

I walk behind the curtains and watch Bull and the Talery's walk onto the stage.

Bull talks for about an hour before he finishes.

"Segregation today! Segregation tomorrow! Segregation forever! I promise to all of you!" He shouts and walks into the crowd. The Talery's follow. They're going to their limo.

I walk onto the stage and see that the members at church were already filming me. I could see myself, since they had a TV next to the camera.

I walk up to the microphone. "Why should segregation last forever?!".

Bull turns around and storms to the stage. "GET HER OFF!" He screams. Alex, Reese, Laurel, and Rocky all looked terrified.

"Imagine if you guys were treated like how we've been treated!". I turn to the TV to see if that had any effect on the crowd.

Instead I see myself get shot on television. (THG reference)
