Chapter 5: Escape.

Run is all I could think of, but another part of me wanted to find Aaron and Amber. I stop running and look at Cali, she looks at me with concern.
"We have to go back." I tell her, she gave me this confused look. But she knew what I was talking about. She sighed.
"We can't, I mean not right now." I dont understand.. Why was she acting like this? My little sister would always understand whatever it was.
"What the fuck are you talking about?" I raise my voice, she takes a step back stepping into a puddle. I step foward letting her know I wanted to find my friends. She knew I was hurt and mad, she didn't want me to be angry.
"Alex you know that's to dangerous right now." She was right. Right now probably all the Guards back at the Admission Court was looking for us. But I dont think the guard that grabbed me saw me exactly.
"Cali I don't think they saw me.." Her eyes get bigger and her eyes change color. I did not just see that.. Did I?
"Um Ca-."
"Just shut up. I'll explain later, right now we need to move we're probably right under them." We start heading towards the light.
-----Aaron's POV------
I wake up from a massive headache I think.. Thats what it feels like. I hold my head with pain. Amber realizes im up, I try sitting up but she was too quick.
"Nu-uh , your not getting up yet." She slowly pushes me down cradling my head making sure I dont hurt myself. My vision gets better and I finally realize that were not at the plane 2 miles in the Plantation. We're in a Rain forest.
"W-Were are w-" I get cut off by Amber shoving a spoon of soup in my mouth. Well damn.
"No need to be concerned... We're about..." She seemed like she didnt know. I was worried, are we lost? I have million of more questions but I feel tired.
"Were is Alex?" I had to ask. I was concerned about him, what if he was asked questions about us. If he was helping us escape?
"I-I dont know Aaron.." She looks down and puts down the spoon. I look at the sky and everything goes quiet.

I really didn't know were Alex was, but I needed to tell Aaron or he would expect Alex to just pop up and run away with us. But he wasnt here, I couldn't understand why Aaron was so quiet about it. He would usually get up and walk toward the Plantation and get Alex and run away. Headache or no headache, thats what I loved about Aaron. He was... Diffrent, so wasn't Alex. But Alex is my best friend, and I wouldn't want that to end. Aaron, well let me explain.
Me and Aaron were dating but it was the " First grade relationship" it was cute. We dated till 10th grade, and we broke then and there, because Alex was he's "bro" and he didn't want his friendship to end quickly over a girl. I was really upset. But I understood what he was saying, no one would wanna lose Alex.
"Aaron?" He shifts a around a little.
"Hm?"
"Do you think Alex is ok? I mean I dont want him to get prosecuted because of us. You know him." He sits up and quickly holds his head.
"Well..ow... Alex is a tough guy... Son of a bitch..." He lets his hand down and sees blood covering his hand. He looks at me with wide eyes.
"You didnt see this?!?!" Fuck. I didn't see Aaron bleed so much. I quickly got up with no word and got an old backpack.
"Were did you find that?" Aaron looks at me with concern.
"I found it , it was in a Oak tree up on a hill. Aaron grabbed the bag and searched threw it.
"Hey! What are you doing?!" I grab the bag back and grab the first aid kit.
"That... That bag was.. Me and Alex's bag when we were little." Everything went quiet.
"And..?" He gives me a dirty look like it was the rudest thing i've ever said to him.
"AND... That had a lot of shit in it.. A lot.. Even... Even... My dads journel. With all the.." He takes a second to breath.
"Will you stitch this up..?" He holds his head..
"As long as you talk." He smirks and nodds
