Chapter 4: Run

-----Alex's POV----
I turn the faucet on to warm, I wash my face with my hands. Waiting for me to wake up from this nightmare. It never happens. I inch my hands down to look myself in the mirror. Still ugly as usual. I want to be like the others, but never will be. I try to dry my face off but I didnt move a inch. Still looking myself in the mirror, I start to get mad and I throw my hands up, I cant do anything else that will get me in trouble. Breaking things will be on the list sooner or later.
"Good job trying to not break the mirror champ." I turn around and I dont see anyone.
"Who's there?" I ask, no answer. A figure comes out from the dark corner of the bathroom. Cali, I hug her quickly and look around. We cant be in here definitely not in the boys bathroom.
"What are you doing here?" Examining her, making sure shes not hurt. I miss her so damn much.
"I cant stand working for those guys, Alex I want to leave tonight. I know this might sound crazy but I cant stand it here.." Tears stream down her face, she quickly wipes them acting like theres nothing there. Cali is tough, not like Amber but tough.
"I cant stand this place either, intill we figure things out we cant leave." Cali is my sister. We're twins, she's the same age but a little bit more mature. I would do anything for my sister. She tightens her grip onto me and I feel the pain. Yep tough. I kiss her forehead and hold her closer than ever. I hear voices and inch closer to the door and have cali behind me.
"We found two kids outside the plantation and they were hiding in the broken plan 2 miles out." Shit its Amber and Aaron. I crept closer.
"Did you put them out?" The man goes quiet for a second.
"Ma'am one of them was unconscious and the other was crying. She looked up and started to fire. I think it was 3245 and 6901 ma'am." The woman questions herself I can hear her.
"We need both of them alive, we need to ask questions. I'll get there parents and inform them the bad news. We need to say there dead for now and make up some bodys." I tighten my grip on Cali forgetting that she was behind me holding my hand.
"OW WHAT THE HELL." I turn to her and cover her mouth. Her eyes widen more than ever, we run to the window in the bathroom. Locked.
"What was that?" The door creaks open a little revealing a small head. Obviously you could tell its one of the guards talking to the woman.
"Down here." Cali gestures over and drops down a sewage drain bigger than my whole body. I follow her down the ladder into the sewage drain. Making sure the top is back on, I feel a strong hand and I look up and see the Guard. I twist his hand with my other hand and he screams in pain.
"SON OF A BITCH!" Language plz. I hop down and run with Cali hoping are new lives start here.
