Brock rested his sweat slicked forehead on the lid of the toilet. His pale hand weakly reached up for the handle to flush the toilet.
He had just spewed out his insides and was now sobbing on the floor of the bathroom floor. The cool tile contrasted against his burning skin.
He was too weak to stand up and get his phone to call his boyfriend Evan.
It was the first time in a while he had been sick. The pain was unbearable and it didn't help that he couldn't breath correctly through his sobbing.
'Evan, please, come home soon.' Brock silently begged and laid there on the bathroom floor staring at the ceiling.
Evan came home from a project he has been working on for months with a company and took off his shoes.
"Brock baby, I'm home." He says hanging up his jacket. No response.
"Brock, are you home?" Of course he was home, his car was in the driveway.
He searched the bedroom first, nothing. Then the office. He wasn't there either.
Then out of the corner of his eyes he could see a light coming out from under the door of the bathroom.
He knocked first, respecting his privacy. "Brock, are you in there." Again, no reply.
So he entered and found Brock unconscious on the bathroom floor. "Oh my god Brock are you okay." He pulled him into his arms and place a hand on his cheek. He was burning up and super pale.
"Fuck Brock, why didn't you call me." He picked the sick male up into his arms and carried him to the bedroom. Checking his temperature first, wanting to make sure it wasn't serious, he ran the thermometer over his forehead.

He needed to keep his fever down somehow. Evan went to the bathroom and washed a cloth before putting it on his forehead.
Evan pulled up the covers and then climbed in next to him, playing with his hair and making sure when he woke he was next to him.
Even when he slept, Evan could feel how feverish his boyfriend felt. He was sweating trying to burn off the fever. Not to mention he was extremely pale. A frown formed on Evan lips as he stood up to grab a glass of water.
"Evan?" He heard Brock hoarsely call out for him. He rushed back to their shared room. He set the glass of water on the bed stand and sat on the edge of the bed.
"He baby. How are you feeling?" He asked taking off the wash cloth and feeling his forehead. The fever was cooler than before, yet still burning.
"I feel horrible." Brock groaned closing his eyes trying to kick off the covers, but Evan wouldn't let him.
"Okay, I'm gonna go get that fever medicine. Stay in bed please." Brock sighed as Evan left to the bathroom to get the meds.
Brock felt like he was in a volcano, so he kicked off the blanket, flipping the pillow over to the cold side and closing his eyes.
Evan came back and sighed seeing Brock had kicked off the blanket.
"Leave it off please, I'm so hot." He said rolling over to Evan and trying to sit up slowly. Evan chuckled and gave him the fever reducer. He took them and gave a nasty face afterwards.
"Ugh, they always taste terrible."
"I know. Now, I'm going to make you soup, put on your favorite movies, and we'll cuddle the rest of the night." Brock smiled and nodded.
"I like that plan."
