The New Beginning

Again

My eyes finally came into focus.
I looked around at the small room I was in, light purple curtains, dark purple chest and dresser. I moved around until a young woman came in, she had long black hair and brown eyes. She made me feel at ease, like everything was ok. She leaned over and smiled at me,
"Hey, Little Aph." She said in a sweet and soft voice.
I tried to speak, "M-Mommy?" I said in my small voice.
She continued to smile at me, and then she picked me up.

"So little Aph, what do you want to do today?" She asked swinging me around in circles.
"I wanna play Lord!" I said excitedly.
"Of course you do..." she said with a sparkle in her eyes.

"Mommy, I'm scared. Why would that man want to hurt anyone?" I said to my mother as we looked into the orb,
"Because he's jealous of the love that the village has, and jealousy is a dangerous thing Aphmau." She told me.
"Then why don't they just show him love? Everyone wants to love" I asked her.
"Good idea Aph...." she smiled down at me.

"Don't worry Aph, this is just temporary. One day you'll get your wings and everything will be normal" my mother assured me.
"I hope so, but until then I'm wearing this hood and scarf to cover my face." I said, not wanting to show the white particles that surrounds my face.
"I think you look beautiful but ok."
How could she think I look beautiful? Mortals are beautiful, half goddesses are not.

Life lived twice,
and again once more.
What's about to happen,
Has all happened before.
Once as a goddess,
Once as a girl,
Her final life's destiny,
Begins to unfurl
