It was pouring down with rain which meant I had to keep my camera dry. The family of tigers were on their way back to their cave but they couldn't because there was a big male tiger within the cave. This tiger looked like he was willing to put up a fight for the cave because it clearly belonged to him now eventhough we had it first. Shikharna had to find a warm place for herself and the cubs to rest and get some shut-eye. Shikharna found this hole in a cave that she could fit in perfectly, she laid there comfortably with her cubs fitting in next to her snuggling up in her warm fur to keep themselves warm through the night. But as you see we have no where we could sleep. Syeed thought that maybe we could sleep out in the rain but I disagreed with him because I have to keep my camera dry. We looked around trying to find a place for us to sleep without making any noise because Shikharna, Kharn and Broken Ear were sound asleep, Syeed and I didn't want to wake them because they looked so happy together snuggling up in warmth while we were stuck out here with drops of water drumming against us.
As we were trudging about in search of a place we had seemed to have woken up Shikharna. She looked at us with her piercing eyes and shuffled back as if she was allowing us to share her small cave. I slowly crouched down and began to move towards the space she'd made for me and Syeed to sleep and then I laid down, I was leaning against Shikharna I felt her warm fur against my back, I could hear her heavy breathing as she sleepily shut her eyes. Syeed was beside me. The cubs were leaning their heads against my knee. They looked very comfortable together.
It felt like a very long night. All I heard was the whistle of the wind blowing pass, the heavy breathing of the tigers and the groan of other tigers walking around in the dark of the night. In the morning Syeed and I had no food to digest and no water to drink. So that meant I had to search for food like other animals in this world. Before a set off to fetch some break fast I decided to stay with the cubs just in case harm comes their way. It took a while for Shikharna to return but when she did she had no food. I guess sometimes things don't work out the way you'd like them to, but that's just the way of life I suppose. The cubs were whimpering, they wanted food. Actually, it was more like needed food. Shikharna was hungry too. I was just hoping that she wasn't so hungry that she was willing to eat me and Syeed, I don't want to be digested in a tiger's stomach. That is probably the last thing I'd want to happen. The family of tigers were soon off again maybe Syeed and I will find some edible food to eat because I don't want to get food poisoned by rore deer meat or some other type of animal meat.
I was almost completely starved! I felt like there was nothing in my body. My stomach ached and rumbled, I felt like if I didn't eat something soon I might be sick. All I wanted to do right now was eat. Eat until I'm full and until I couldn't even squeeze one tiny, tiny crumb into my mouth that it would just slip off my lips and fall down to the ground. I was seeing patches of grass scattered about the floor. I hope that this meant I have gotten closer towards some edible food like fruit or something. At the moment I haven't added much more paragraphs to my journal because I had no energy left. I think I am just going to collapse on the floor and lie there. Alone. I could barely walk, I just want food!
"Hey, look, over there!" Syeed pointed to a near by tree. "There could be some edible fruit there".
The tigers went on ahead. They leaped towards the tree, then they found a river. Syeed and I ran towards the tree, wasting the last of our energy on running towards the tree which lay ahead of us. When Shikharna, Kharn and Broken Ear approached the water they immediately dived in and splashed about. Syeed and I on the other hand sunk our teeth in to the fruit on the tree. Once I had regained my stamina I began to proceed writing my journal. I hadn't written in it for a while now but it was okay because I had stored all the memory in my head. As I was doing that Syeed was admiring his surroundings and took pictures of the family of tigers playing and messing around together in the river. Tigers love water! Some tigers like to feast on fish. That's pretty unexpected. I mean, well, they're tigers! I don't think anyone would actually know that some tigers eat fish. Everyone and everything is different. But Shikharna, Kharn and Broken Ear didn't like the taste of fish, they had tasted one because they were hungry and they don't eat fruit because they're carnivals. They're not like chimpanzees. Chimpanzees eat healthy food and meat, so they're practically Herbivores and Carnivores. But when you're both of those you're usually known as an omnivores, like humans.
