"The gangs on the east side are going to start a civil war if we don't interfere soon." One of my gang members told me.
"I don't care," I said to them with a hard voice and emotionless face, "It's their problem. Everything they do is out of my hands. The east side gangs are very unreasonable and I'm pretty sure you're aware of that."
I stared hard at them. That's just what I did for a minute, switching my gaze from one person to another in the room. Then I saw one nearly at the back of the room visibly shake, clearly intimidated. I smirk. This is what I do. Fear is my weapon. I bathe in the fear of others.
"But, boss, if we don't interfere, then we will be caught in the crossfire. Our weed supplies that came from the east side will be affected and also the gun shipments. We need to interfere so we will not be affected." Said someone at the front. I turned my stare at him.
"So you are suggesting that I send my gang members to fight the east side's battle for them?" I said to him.
He paled. "N-no s-sir—"
I stood up and made my towards him. "Are you suggesting that I sacrifice a few of our members to their little banter while we are fighting a war of our own?"
"N—"
I stood in front of him with my six foot four height towering over him. "Just so you know, when I first saw the sign of their civil war blooming, I transferred my trust to the west side to take care of my gun shipments and to the south for my drug supplies. I wouldn't even allow this meeting if you're suggestion is something that I do not like and you thinking I'm stupid enough not to transfer my shipments to another gang if ever a war was to break out."
He has gotten paler. "N-no—"
"What is your name?" I said, interrupting him from his stupid stuttering.
"M-Mc—"
"STOP YOUR STUTTERING AND ANSWER ME PROPERLY!" I shouted, making every person in the room jump in surprise and fear and the person I am talking to get even more considerably paler like he was about to pass out.
"McPhee, sir. Ronald McPhee." McPhee said more clearly and you can feel the fear in his voice.
I stared at him hard and my fists clenching. "Well, McPhee. Just so you know, I'm called a leader for a reason."
Then I threw my fist at his face, knocking him out cold on the floor with his nose bleeding.
"Take him away!" I commanded my guards guarding by the door.
They nodded and pulled him up by his shoulders, carrying him out of my office, his feet dragging under him. Then the guards shut the door of my office, the sound resonating around the silent office.
I leaned against my desk, glaring at every single person in the room with my teeth clenched. They just stared at their feet, shifting uncomfortably because of the glares being given to them courtesy of me.
"EVERYONE," I yelled, making them jump and making them all look up at me with fear painted at their faces, "Get out of my office, NOW!"
They quickly made their way out of my office, crowding the door, clearly relieved that they are finally being let out and hurrying out because of the fear that I would take my anger out at them.
Then the last person making his way out of my made the mistake of looking at me in the eye. I glared harder at him, my jaw clenched and my glare resonating kept anger about to be let out. The boy jumped in fear and scurried his way out of my office, closing the door without looking at me in the eye agian. I smirk. It's easier to make them submit using fear.
I stood up from my place and made my way behind my desk, sitting on the office chair located behind my desk.
I placed my elbows on my desk and placed my face in my hands, groaning.
"You're doing a great job, son." I heard my father say from the doorway of my office.
I removed my face from my hands and faced my dad. "Thank you, dad. It's just that I'm waiting for a good news since this morning and it seems like none is coming for I only receive bad news."
"Just be patient, it will come." My dad said, placing his hand on my right shoulder.
I heard frantic knocking on my door. I leaned forward with my elbows on my desk and my father made his way to the giant window behind me. I hardened my face and called out with my authoritative tone, "Come in."
The door opened and I saw one of my best friend's face and also the hacker and computer geek of the gang, Lee.
"Oh, it's only you, Lee." I said with a less tense voice and leaned back on my chair.
"Of course, who did you think I was? Zeus?" He said sarcastically. I chuckled.
He caught sight of my father. "Hi, Mr. Calrissian."
My father nodded at him. "Hello, Ulysses."
"Okay, I've got good news." Lee suddenly announced, sitting on chair in front of me.
"Oh really?" I said, raising and eyebrow interrogatively.
"Yep, you're so gonna like this." He said mysteriously. He stopped for a few seconds, trying to build up the tension.
"Just say it, Lee." I commanded him impatiently.
"We found her." He said. My dad tensed up. I became rigid.
I leaned forward on my desk. "Mind saying that again, Lee?"
"We found Leia May." He said excitedly.
I smirked. "Good. Prepare the van. I'm going to fetch my future wife."
