WoW: life before becoming undead

The meeting

Anthiras and Caldrenei was playing outside in Stormwind. Tabitha was in the shop debating on what food to buy. Anthiras only five years old now, with long red hair,and Caldrenei only recently turned four, with short black hair, was playing tag with some of the alliance kids. A familiar figure walked by, coming from the bank. Caldrenei saw him first and ran to him giving him a hug.

"Voly! Voly!" She exclaimed happily. The man looked down, startled. Anthiras ran up to him too, but stops short and sniffing the air around him. She quickly grabbed Cal's hand.

"No, Cal. That's not Uncle Voly." She move tried to keep the over excited Cal from hugging him again. The man smiles at them.

"Hello, now what do we have here?" He pats Caldrenei's head. He went to do the same for Anhiras but she went to bite his hand, but he retracted his hands before she could.

"Stranger Danger!" Anthiras hissed at him. Caldrenei hit her sister a few time, trying to get her to let go. The man chuckles sounding just like their Uncle Voldyn.

"Oh, I'm not a stranger. I know Voldyn. Tell me child, how is it that you know Voldyn?" He kneeled down to be face to face with them. Caldrenei finally got out of her sister's grasp, and into the man's arm.

"Voly! Voly!" She exclaimed again. Tabitha came out of the store looking for the two little ones.

" I don't believe you." Anthiras said then kick the man in the shins. The man chuckles again. Not even hurt she kicked him.

"Magnius!" Tabitha exclaimed with a worried look. She rushed over and moved Anthiras behind her. Ann was more then happy to be behind her aunt. Magnius stood up, holding Caldrenei in his arms.

"They are mine, aren't they?" He moved Caldrenei away from Tabitha. Tabitha still moved to grab Cal out of his hands anyways.

"Doesn't matter. Me and Voldyn legally adopted them. You can't have them." She shift Cal in her arms being careful of her basket of groceries. Then hand Anthiras the basket. Anthiras grabbed it and heft it on her shoulders. Then grabbed her Aunts free hand, glaring at the man who gives her a bad vibe.

"We will see how long you can keep my children from me." He said then gives Anthiras a wink. Probably hoping to ease the ice wall between them. Then turns and rushed off around the corner. Tabitha sighed in a slight relief then rushed them home.

"Voldyn, hurry home." She half said to herself. Anthiras remained quiet the whole way back. Slowing down with every step from the weight of he basket. Tabitha set Caldrenei down a little ways from their home, then grabbed the basket back from Anthiras. Once inside she locked the doors then started with dinner, trying to push the tears out of her eyes so the kids won't see her overwhelmed.
