Anthiras sat down next to human girl. Ann smiled at her.
"Hi! I'm Anthiras, what's your name?" The girl looked at Ann and starts laughing.
" You look funny. You don't look like a Night elf. What are you?"
"What do you mean?"
"Your eyes are not white and your skin... It has no color. You are white." She laughs again and harder and some of the kids near by started laughing also. Ann was going to say something but Aly'dir walked in and stopped her.
"Settle down students" she said going to the front of the room. The class ended about 2 hours latter. When the kids where let out there where more kids with parents outside. Ann run up to her uncle and gave him a hug he picked her up.
"How was school?"
"I want to go home." Ann replied and rest her head on Voldyn's shoulder. Voldyn was confused and not sure about her answer. He walked up to Aly'dir.
"What happened in class?" He asked her concerned.
"Well I taught them about different animals and plants. I even had them draw their favorite animal or plant. Anthiras drew a black bird. You can see her work on the wall over there." She pointed inside. Voldyn looked inside, then back to Aly'dir.
"What does plants and animals have to do with Ann left me cheerful but returned.. Um.. Like this, not herself?" Aly'dir looked at him puzzled.
"I don't know. I'm not a mind reader. She was pretty well behaved in class. Didn't speak out or anything bad. She really didn't talk much either. When I had the kids introduced themselves, Anthiras was shy and didn't want to say anything."
"Wait... Anthiras shy?" Voldyn tilt his head in disbelief. Aly'dir nodes. "Anthiras? What happened?" Anthiras closesd her eyes pretending to have fallen asleep. Voldyn sighed. "Well thank you for your time. Do me a favor and keep an eye on her for me next time. See if you can figure out why she is so melancholy?"
Aly'dir nodded. Voldyn turned around and headed home.
