Many years later, school years was the same, for Anthiras. She barely talked to any of the kids anymore. She did her work and tried her best to pass her classes. Non of the kids got violent to her, only teased her when they got the chance.

But this year... This year should be a new year. She was going to start high school.  This year kids from different schools would join together. Maybe she will meet a new friend. Caldrenei had lots of friends. So humans didn't hate her kind. She took a deep breath. Brushing her black dyed hair behind her ears. She walked towards the steps, when..

"You are not welcomed here." Judith, the little girl Ann tried to befriend her first day, said moving quickly infront of her. She slapped the books out of Anthiras's hands. "Go home, and kill yourself. No one likes you."

"Hey!" A guy said coming up to them. "That is not how Nobles act. Back off and leave her alone." Ann looked at him in awe. He had short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing the Alliance's tabard, over his white shirt. He had black pants and boots on. His books was in a bag that was slung over his shoulders.

Judith looked at him scared. "Melvrin? What are you doing? Do you even know what she is?"

" She is a Noble Elf. Look at those cute glowing blue eyes." He winked at Anthiras. "She should be treated as a Noble, or would you like me to report you for treating one so rudely?" Judith shook her head and walked away. Anthiras bent down to pick up her books.

"Thank you." She said shyly. Melvrin bent down and helped her.

"I'm Melvrin, but of course you know that." He handed her books and they stood up.

"Anthiras." She smiled the put a hand out to shake his hand. He chuckled then took her hand and kissed her knuckles. Anthiras blushed.

"We use to play together in the market place, when we where kids. You don't remember?"

"Sorry. I hadn't played with kids since I started school. No one likes me, so I stayed out of the city as much as I could."

"That's ashame. We could have been great friends, but we can fix that now." He winked at her as the bells rang to start school. Anthiras ran away as fast as she could to get to class. Melvrin chuckled. He watched her run off ahead of him.
