The Hunt

Intro

As Artemis was in a forest, looking for something or someone to execute and bring it to Olympus. Her wolf companion, Alice, was with her to join the hunting. Artemis then heard rumbles in the bushes. She withdrew her bow and steady it on to the bush. After a few minutes had gone by Artemis then turn back and continue her hunt. Later that day, a fling of arrows went after her. Artemis then drew her moon crested bow and arrows and shoot in the direction the arrows came from. Alice then went after it and what came out of the covering of the trees had killed Alice. It was a hooded figure that once shoot Artemis earlier. Artemis shoot back a pack of arrows at him/her. Which didn't hit him. He got her back by shooting another flare of arrows, which had hit her arm. Making her vulnerable for just long enough for him/her to shoot an arrow in her jaw to knock her unconscious.

Lightning danced across the skies sending a signal interrupting almost everyone. The gods knew it was a meeting call from Zeus, the god of the sky and lord of the gods. Who had white hair and beard with his master bolt.

At Mount Olympus, it had houses of every olympian and had greek culture spread throughout it, every god united, wondering why had Zeus called for them.

"What's going on Zeus, Aphrodite and I have a dat- err I mean a meeting later to discuss when and where the next war will be, wait Artemis isn't here," questioned Ares, the god of war, trying urgently to change the subject from his terrible excuse. Ares had golden armor and a red cape with his celestial axe in hand.

"That's why we are here, someone has captured Artemis and is holding her hostage, but we don't know how or why,"explained Zeus with concern, "we need to find someone who can stop this threat and rescue Artemis."

"Why should we be afraid of this, can't we just easily take him out?" asked Hephaestus, the god of mechanics and the forge with gray hair and

with his hammer in hand, eyeing Ares neglectfully on his "meeting" with his wife.

"We can't, because we don't know where the mortal is," Zeus said, "and we can't go after him ourselves since he might be able capture us too, so we need someone else."

"Well, I might know someone who can help," said Hermes with gratitude, the god messenger.

Back in the jungle, Artemis was dragged to a building in Africa. In her dazed state, she remembered her capture over and over. Artemis was still hunting for the bloodthirsty king of the wolves, Lycaon, for what had been a millia since she tried to hunt down the beast last, at the time. As she was running through the jungle, arrows were flying past her, striking the trees which enraged her with anger. Behind her, she saw a mortal with a recurve bow. In all the interruption Artemis did not notice that she was being herded towards a trap. Her silver arrows seem to have no affect on his armor. Right when she thought she was safe, a net sprang up underneath her from the ground, she tried useing her celestial powers but seemed to be no use on the net, since it was made of celestial bronze. "You will never get away with this!" screamed Artemis, as she struggled to get through the net.

"Oh, Artemis, I already have, your futile escape plan has failed you," the mortal smiled menacing as he said, "Now let's get to your friend, you won't be lonely at least."

As he stepped into the light Artemis saw his shaggy brown hair and his fiery red eyes that felt like they were infested with ancient power. Surprisingly he is heavily built and in his teens. With his imperial bronze armor he seems more menacing. He was tall and could easily pass as a son of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, with his looks.

"What are you, some celestial hunter?" asked Artemas enraged, but with a dip of confusion.

"I do like the ring, but no, for I want to finish what my father started, so I prefer the phase Goddess Hunter," he said, and with that he knocked out Artemis.
