Goddess Hunter

Chapter 2

"Wake up, Artemis, I don't want you sleeping all day," said Goddess Hunter, "Don't you want to see your friend? I also have a surprise for you and Nyx." Artemis woke up to a voice of the Goddess Hunter, wondering what is going on. She was in the same room as before with old cobblestone, planked floors, and celestial bronze crested all over to stop her from escaping. It was a regular room with normal bathrooms and regular beds, but it had no windows. Plus why isn't he torturing me yet, is he a pervert?

"Wait, you were able to get Nyx, how?" Asked Artemis. How could he be so powerful when he is a teenager and he is also not a demi god.

"That isn't important, if you want, you can go ask her during lunch time," answered the hunter.

"You will be stopped, the gods will find a way to get us out of here," Artemis snapped. She was tired of being trapped in her damp cell.This was like jail to her.

"If you're tired of this then just say so, because I got you a roommate. Bring her in!" He shouted outside of the celestial bronze door to some of his men. The men were big, burly, but silent like stone. Being brought in, was an unconscious Aphrodite. Even unconscious she was beautiful.

She is so lucky that Artemis said, "What have you done to her?" Who would do all to so many goddesses and how? She thought.

"It was easy," said a female voice from behind Goddess Hunter,"While my best ninjas distracted her I whacked her upside the head with her mirror. Piece of cake."

"Wait, you mean Phantom, she has a really unique ability," Artemis said.

"Oh come on, even the gods know about her," said the teenage girl bitterly.

"My name is Catherine, and I am the best ninja in his army,"she said firmly. Catherine was tall and elegant with creamy brown hair and poison green eyes that demand attention. She wore a simple black shirt, a pitch black skirt, and a black capped katana in hand. And just by looking at her, Artemis could tell that she had a heart break and is now a fighter.

"Enough! Leave the prisoner alone, she have an unconscious friend that she needs to take care of," said the hunter,"We need to prepare for lunch and training any way."

"You are making a big mistake!" Artemis yelled as she got up from her bed.

"I know that, but I have taken every precaution," Goddess Hunter said, as he smiled. With that, they took their leave while Artemis tries to wake up Aphrodite. When she finally finished her beauty rest, Aphrodite was wondering where she was.

"Don't you remember what happened to you," Artemis asked while she help Aphrodite to her feat.

"All I remember is the ruthlessness of the attacks, Ares would have loved it,"Aphrodite said a bit dreamily.

"Well, this is a predicament that I don't see a out, since we can't escape once we are captured unless a mortal lets us out, which they can't, so we are stuck here forever then,"muttered Artemis as she thumped her head to the bed.

"What about the hunters, Can't they help?" Aphrodite said.

"Sure, but how will they find us, I don't even know where we are," said Artemis. how was I bested by a mortal at my own game, she thought as she got up and walked back and forth, which is annoying Aphrodite.

"Come on! We are the goddesses, we can think of a way to get out. Even if we can't escape, the olympians will find a way to rescue us, you know he gets a report of our well being every other day," chastised Aphrodite,"and you know that they can find a hero, like Phantom."

"Oh, come on!" yelled an echoing voice from the outside.

"Yeah, that girl have some issues with Phantom,"Artemis said to Aphrodite when she realized that she was asleep then.

"Know what? Why are they not even torturing us yet? There must have been a reason." Is it idiocy or is it that he just want us to be tortured by the feeling of us being executed multiple times, Aphrodite thought.

Later they heard keys dangle in the shake of the doorknob. Then they saw the hunter, as though they were used to seeing him. This time he had a knife in hand by the side. Immediately Artismist wild instincts took control of her lounging her at him with hands into fist. Though as she tried her best, he shift into a position in which he stabbed the knife into her waist letting blood gush out. With each breath Artemis takes she got up once again and caught him off guard, but soon he got his balance and hit her in the head with the knife. Aphrodite just stands there quivering as she just saw what happened. What was she doing? How did he get her like that? What is that knife? Aphrodite thought. The goddess hunter shoved his knife into his knife pocket which is draining out purple liquid. Then he said with a hollow voice, "This, this is what happens if you dare come across my business." Then he knocked Artemis' head into the wall.

Three weeks later...

No food, no water, nothing to do, why am I here.

In the past couple of days, more and more came in, like it never going to end. First with Artemis, then Aphrodite. When Artemis got out of what he calls solitary, she only left with one eye the other one was replace with white streaming blood. All over her was cuts, bruises, and blood. Somehow Nyx didn't find it surprising instead she just stood there with depression. There is no way to get out of the place, and Artemis just about proved it, by finding a flaw in the place where there is one section that was not crested with celestial bronze. Which only she knew. Should of been done by now. Everyone now calls Artemis a rebel which took place of hunter of the wild. Everyone is in one of three groups, there is the people who wants to get out, people who wants to stay and wait for the hunters, and finally the people who wants to stay because of lose of their humanity. The cafeteria is where all of this action happens, the only place where all of them meets up. It brings back many bad memories to some people even Aphrodite. Losted hope and is now basically a hologram that follows the same routine every day. Since now that all hope is lost it brings personalty with it.
