May's POV

I walked down the stairs with Callum in silence. I couldn't believe what he told me, it just sounded impossible. I don't feel magical or holy and I'm nothing special. I looked over at Callum, he just retracted his wings which is something I never want to see again. He was deep in thought as if the notion of a person seeing him with wings was something that isn't supposed to happen. I was getting very anxious. Callum was usually very mischievous, but he was being so serious  it was scary.

I couldn't take it anymore and grabbed his shoulders. He looked at me with a shocked expression, but before he could respond I pushed him against the wall. I looked him in the eyes and said "What's wrong with you? You better tell me what you're thinking about right now!" He looked at me and gave me his signature smirks. "I was just thinking who I would be my Valentine." I looked at him and then blushed. I turned away so he would't see me become a tomato. I totally forgot that it was Valentines Day tomorrow. He smiled and said "As much as I would love to stay here like this I think we should go back to class before they get any ideas."I realized I was still holding him against the wall and immediately released my hold on him. I wiped my hands on my skirt and stomped off, blushing hard. He followed me the whole way with a smirk on his face.

We arrived in our next class which was Literature. I sat in my usual seat and Callum sat in the seat behind me. I could feel the smirk on his face as he sat down. The teacher Mrs.Becker told us we were going to make Valentines Day poems. The class suddenly got excited and started talking about who they were going to give their poems too. I stayed quiet, but I spotted a group of girls giggling then pointing at Callum. I frowned and looked at Callum expecting for him to be happy, but hoped for him not to be. He surprised buy just sitting there and looked as if he didn't even noticed. The girls were gorgeous, but he apparently has his sights set on someone else. I wonder who it is and then he caught me staring at him. He smirked then waved his hand in front of me. I glared at him and turned around and started on my poem.

10 minutes later I was still on my first stanza not really coming up with anything good. Callum suddenly came to my desk and in his hand was a folded piece of paper. I blushed, but quickly shook it off. "Don't you have a poem to write?"I said. He replied "I'm finished and I have nothing better to do than bathe in your pleasant presence." I rolled my eyes then asked him who the poem was for. He said "You'll only find out if you are outside tomorrow at exactly 12:00pm and it would be great if you waited on the balcony if you have one." I nearly slapped him, but agreed to his terms. The day blew by quickly and then we were told there was no school tomorrow. I left quickly in anticipation of who could be Callum's crush.
