"What are we Going to do? Since our last lord passed away the people have been going crazy, Not to mention we are running low on local resources and we have no connection to the other villages!" Zenix said.
"Zenix do not worry, I have a plan." My master, Garroth said. I hear something in the trees not far from here!
"Grr." I growled.
"Wait did you hear that?" Zenix asked. Just when I heard a woman's voice come from the woods as well as a man, He ran past my master and my master told me to stay.
"Where? Oh my god that guy is getting attacked by that guard!" She ran passed me and stopped.
"W-where'd he go?" Then she started talking to herself so I stopped listening. I started to think about my past. How I have magiks and how my father hated magiks so much he was willing to kill me, his youngest daughter. Then I thought of my mother who loved me so much and helped me escape. I remember how I found Garroth.
*Flashback*
'Run, run, run! You have to run quicker! They're going to catch you!' I thought as I ran through the forest, not knowing where I was going. I hid behind a tree so I could change into a wolf. As soon as I had changed I was shot with an arrow in my shoulder but I bolted out from behind the tree and continued running. I saw a guard, one I didn't know. 'Maybe just Maybe he can help me?' I thought. I ran behind the guard, whimpering as I did. After about a minute They come out of the trees.
"What are you doing running in these woods chasing a wolf?" The guard I was hiding behind asked.
"The lord ordered us to find the girl who has ran away. She has magiks and was ordered to be executed." One of them said.
"Well this is clearly not the girl you are looking for. And it seems you have shot him-" He was saying, til I cut him off with a growl. "Her with an arrow because of your carelessness. Please search the forest for as long as you want but do not go hurting the wild life." The guard said. The guard turned around and started walking but stop after a minute. He turned around looked at me and said "Are you coming girl?" I got up and started walking towards him.
*Flashback End*
"Come on Midnight, Let's go. We have some stuff to patrol." Garroth called as he walked into the village.
