~July 24, 2005~
It's been two months since Callie and Mark came clean with their relationship. Everybody has excepted the idea of them dating, all but Meredith.
"So, I really haven't talked to you since I let people know about me and Mark." Callie told Meredith.
"Well to be honest, I really didn't want to talk to you." Meredith said with a stern look on her face.
Well Callie was so confused, cause she thought she had done something to Meredith to make her mad.
"What do you mean you didn't want to talk to me?" Callie asked.
"Well the truth is, I'm mad at you for falling in love with Mark." Meredith said with a sad expression in her face.
"Out of everybody I thought you would be the happiest." Callie said.
"No. I'm not one bit happy. Cause I was getting to like you and I had the idea of you and I getting together." Meredith said while she walked away angry.
~later that day~
All day Callie had thought about what Meredith said. Well she got up with Mark and was telling him about what Meredith said.
"You know my friend Meredith right?" Callie asked Mark.
"Yea the blonde one. Yea I know her." Replied Mark.
"Well she finally talked to me today after two months and she told me that she is mad at me for falling in love with you." Callie explained.
"What do you mean she's mad at you for falling in love with me?" Mark said with a confused look on his face.
"She's mad cause I fell in love with you and not her." Callie said.
"Wait Meredith is a lesbian?" Mark asked.
"I guess. I never knew it. But now she's really mad at me cause I never imagined me and her together. So I don't know if she will ever talk to me again."
Callie said as she started to tear up.
"Well you two have been best friends for so long, don't worry she'll talk to you again. And if she doesn't, you always have me." Mark told Callie.
This is why Callie loved Mark so much. Cause he always knew what to say in hard times. And deep down, Callie knew there was nothing that could come between her and Mark.
