Chapter 19:

Melissa drove me home after that without saying another word. She knew that subject made me uncomfortable.

It's not that I don't like Justin like that. I just- well, I just don't think I'm ready for another relationship.

The one with Kyle was enough to be quite honest. But who knows, maybe one day I'll be with someone. Emphasis on the words 'one day'. I could be a 60 year old woman when it happens. Like I said, Who knows.

"Justin, did you do your laundry?" That was the first thing I said when I walked into the house.

But no answer.

"I swear to god if you went out with your friends I am throwing out all your clothes. Even the ones that aren't dirty." Hopefully if he was home, he heard that. If not, I was acting like a lunatic and talking to myself.

I heard a door open from upstairs and then justin emerged.
"Even if you did throw then all out, I could go buy them again." He grinned.

And it totally was true. He could.

I smiled. "No need to get cocky now."

He walked down the stairs, gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and walked down the hallways into the kitchen to grab something to eat.

But that was nothing new. He always kisses me on the cheek nowadays.

"Oh and I did the laundry. Yours and mine."

'Thanks...why'd you do mine?" That was a first.

"There's just something about your undergarments that makes me-"

"EW gross. Justin!" I playfully slapped his upper arm and he just kept chuckling.

"Kidding, kidding" he said between his laughs.

"So did you do my laundry or not?" I stood confused.

"I did," he grabbed a box of Cheerios and started pouring it in a bowl.

"I wanted to make it up to you. And say 'sorry for leaving my dirty clothes in your room."

"Mhm. I'm gonna go take a shower."

"Oh and girly, I left your bra on your vanity. I didn't know where else to put it." He yelled after me.

Girly.

He hasn't called me that in a while, but the sound of him calling me that made me smile uncontrollably.

Oh, Justin.

~~~~~
"Hey, Celine. I've been meaning to talk to you about this for a while. No, no, no. I need to tell you something and-Ugh. Okay uh...this is really important and, god this is so hard." I heard justin saying. Only he wasn't exactly talking to me.
He was in the bathroom. Rehearsing, I'm guessing, what he wanted to tell me?
And me, well I was eavesdropping. And giggling actually because this was one of the funniest things I've seen or really heard Justin say.
"Justin are you okay in there?" I knocked on the door. Suddenly there was a silence and Justin cracked open the door, his face red as a tomato.
"Dammit Celine, how long were you there?" He said.
"Long enough to know that you named your mirror after me." I snorted. My eyes shifted to his face and I saw him recoil and he looked down. He actually looked sad.
