You readers must hate me but that's okay bc I still love you...
Anyways chapterrrr 20. The last and final chapter *dun dun dun*
Chapter 20:
"Aha, I knew I still had my winning streak!" Justin yelled. he won the round of ping pong we've been playing for the past 15 minutes.
"Not fair! You cheated!" I groaned.
He chuckled and came over to give me a hug. Weird, I know. This wasn't the time for hugs.
"Cel, I know you're disappointed I won but admit it, I'm better than you," he whispered in my ear. I rolled my eyes at that. You have to admit, his cockiness can be a bit hilarious. He isn't better than me. Well maybe at ping pong he is, but still. I'll show him.
I pushed him off of me, with all the strength I had, and he almost stumbled back. I had a mini heart attack, as I thought he was going to hit his head on the ping pong table but thankfuly he caught himself. I then continued to our little fight over whose better."You? Better than me?" I scoffed. "Let's play another round and I'll show you who's better." I crossed my arms and gave him the most confident smile I could give.
Justin was amazing at ping pong, and let's be honest, I sorta sucked at it. But I guess my confidence threw him off a little because he furrowed his eyebrows and gave me a look of confusion.
But that look slowly turned into a smirk.
"Alright, but round two is gonna be as easy to win for me."
Justin started to serve the ball when the doorbell rang. Both of us looked at each other in unison and smiled.
"Race you to the door," I yelled as I ran. I heard Justin laugh, though it didn't seem like he was too far behind me. But I was fully confident I was gonna make it to the door first. I kept my breathing steady and placed each foot in front of the other, making quick strides.
Justin may be good at ping-pong, but I'm the best runner in the house.I was about to reach the door, but I guess I didn't time my stop correctly because I was going to crash into the damn thing. But before I hit the door, a pair of arms grabbed me by my waist and pulled me back.
"Woah there, girly, we wouldn't want you to break another bone now would we?" Justin chuckled.
I felt my face turn as red as a tomato. Talk about embarrassing.
The doorbell rang again. But Justin's arms never left my side.
I cleared my throat, to let Justin know that it was time to let go. When he finally realized what he was doing, he coughed and let go of me.
"Thanks," I said.
I unlocked the door and saw Za, Ryan and Melissa.
Melissa?
"Hey, man!" Za said while hugging Justin. "Hope we didn't interrupt anything." he winked.
"Mel, what are you doing here?!" I asked. Not in a mean way or anything, I was just surprised she was here.
They all walked inside and we all went into the game room to talk.
"Ryan invited me over, I hope its alright."
"Why you?" I asked again, not trying to sound rude.
"You don't know?" Mel asked.
"Know what?" I was so confused. Did I miss something?
But Melissa didn't have to say anything, she just held Ryan's hand, smiling wide, mouthing 'he's the one.'
"When did this happen? Oh my gosh. I need details!" This was so amazing. They were so cute together! But Melissa isn't one to stand for commitments, and I hoped Ryan knew that. I would hate it if his heart got broken over her.
