Chapter 3

We sat in the car silently for awhile before Liam turned the music on.

"So, um, tell me about yourself?" he asked.

"Oh, well, I had a sister, Catherine. But, she... hung herself last year..." I said quietly.

"Oh my God, I am so sorry!" He gives me a sympathetic look.

"Me too. Um, and my parents are... um still... upset. Except they don't care about me at all. They blame me for my sisters death..." I told him.

"Oh... sorry," He told me.

"It's fine," I look out the window.

Liam ✔POV

"It's fine," She turns her head to the window.

After a few minutes of silence I ask her to grab my sunglasses out of the glove box. Ella reached out to the glove box. I glanced down at her wrist. She had scars all over her wrists.

"Here you go!" Ella hands me the glasses.

"thanks," I say quietly as I drive up to the doctors.

Elle Pov

He saw my scars. What is he going to say? He's going to hate me. I don't know what to do.

Liam parks the car and we both get out. He opens the office door. We walk in to a silent waiting room and we sit down in old red chairs. A few minutes later, a nurse comes out and calls my name.

"Ella Montgomery" she calls out.

Liam and I get up and we follow the nurse back to a small room.

"What's wrong?" She asks me.

"I...um....I had an accident." I mumbled.

"I think she broke her nose" Li tells her.

"Let me look at it," She comes over with gloves and some sort of equipment. First she looks up my nose with the tool and then she felt my nose. "It may very be a broken nose." She states.

"Ugh... no swim for me." I said bitterly.

"How long will it take to heal?" Liam asked.

"About a month," the nurse told Li. "Give or take a few days, depending on the recovery."

"Okay." I said looking down.

"Okay, you should be good." She told us.

After we left Liam and I talked for awhile.

"My parents are gone for about three weeks, because they went on a cruise." I told Liam.

"So, you're alone at your house?" He asked me.

"Unfortunately." I told him.

"You could always stay with Niall and I," He asked shyly. "If you want to."

"Um, yeah, I guess." I respond quietly.

"Well, we're already out of school lets go grab a bite and then swing by your house and have you pack a bag." Liam told me.

" Are you sure?"

"Positive."

Ella and I eat at a nice little diner and then we headed to her house. We stop outside her house and I get out and open the door for her. We head to the front door and she lets me in politely. I sit down on the couch as she goes up to her bedroom.

Ella ✌ POV

I head upstairs and pick my clothes for the next weak.
