I am going to fit this one into multiple parts because there are many things that have happened, funny stories and all, while using a British accent. my friend, Julie, and I love imitating a British accent. My nanny (or grandmother) was from England and she had an accent so I have been imitating it since I was 6. Everyone I talk to in my accent says that I am quite good at it, Julie is as well. Now that you know that I shall proceed with the story.
This also takes place at King's island in 7th grade. I was with Julie and we were both imitating a British accent like always and o seen this little girl, suddenly I decided to say hello to the little girl in a British accent.
I did exactly that, I walked up to the little girl, a smile plastered across my face.
"Ello'," I said cheerfully in my realistic accent. I waited for the child's reaction. I expected a smile or something of the sorts but no, I was greeted with the most disturbed look. She looked at me as if I had murdered her entire family and then offered to buy her ice cream to apologize.
With that, Julie and I walked away, a confused look across my face as Julie dissolved with laughter.
