After the dance, Glenn left me so he could find his little brother, Prince Alan. I heard the other women speaking loudly. They were bad mouthing me. "She's not even cute. Ugh, how could Prince Glenn show up with a commoner?" Woman 1 asks with a loud huff."I heard that she forced him to go with her... So un-lady like." Woman 2 scuffed.
"How rude. Bet that's not even her real hair color, tsk... That shade of blonde doesn't even look convincing... She must have gotten plastic surgery." Woman 3 spoke. But.... It... Is my natural hair color.... I thought.
"How could a commoner afford plastic surgery?" Woman 1 snickered. The three women laughed.
Tears where starting to fall. I quickly walked out of the room. I just want to go home. I shouldn't have come here. I thought to myself. That's when I bumped into someone. I quickly apologized and started running again, but someone grabbed my wrist. I turned around to see Prince Glenn looking worried. "What's wrong?" He asked. Should I tell him? No, I don't think I should worry a prince with my problems. He has to worry about his image rather than me.
"I-I'm fine." I say, with a fake smile. Hoping he doesn't see through it. "I was just going to get some air." I pulled my arm away and walked quickly down the hall, as I walked out of the castle, I let out a heavy sigh. "I'm sorry Prince Glenn." I mumbled to myself. I walked down the long stairs that lead to the street and continued down the sidewalk. Ignoring the all the cars that honked at me and the men whistling.
My apartment came into view and I was really tired, my eyes felt puffy. I reached my door and opened it. Turning on the lights, I walked to my bed and fell on it. Sighing, I got up and took off the dress and got into something more comfortable. Then I fell back on my bed and fell asleep. Not realizing I fell asleep crying.
