Not So Bad After All ( Liam Payne )

Chapter 1

"So what do you think?" my best friend, Rachel, asked.

She recently heard that her cousin was moving into town, and she was ecstatic. Rachel mentioned to me that he previously lived in Wolverhampton, but is moving to here, in the city of Birmingham.

I considered all of her "exciting" news irrelevant to me, but then she mentioned that he would be moving in the same neighborhood as me. 

Not AS irrelevant.

Rachel's mum planned a family reunion so everyone could catch up, but Rachel kept complaining that she barely talked to anyone, and would be lonely. So, she invited me.

The idea didn't really excite me at all: being in the same room as a bunch of people that didn't know me at all, let alone know my name.

But shes my friend, and i have to be there for her.

"Sounds great," I answered her request, "what time should I be at your house?"

"1:30 sharp! I cant wait for you to meet Liam," she said, speaking about her cousin.

I had no idea why she wanted me to meet him so terribly. I guess he must be nice.

I looked up at my clock, to see that the time was 12 am. I had about an hour and a half before I left for Rachel's. 

I took advantage of the time and stared to get ready for the day.

I walked over to my closet and picked out a peach coloured floral dress, and white flats. 

I then walked into the bathroom to start on my makeup and hair.

I did my dirty blond hair in light waves, and a slight braid at the top, and applied a bit of green eye shadow and mascara.

Once I was satisfied with my appearence, (link on the side) I walked into the living room to see my mum almost waiting for me.

"Where are you going, sweetie?" my mum asked. I cringed at her nickname.

"Rachel asked me to come with her to her family reunuin. I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you."

My mum and I always had a very special relationship. She was never rude or mean to me, and I was never to her. Bu the best part was that we could talk about almost anything.

"It's fine. Well you better get going!" She told me as she handed me my car keys, "and dont forget these."

I gasve her a small smile as I took my keys and walked through  the door.
