"Dylan?"
"Hmm?"
The couple were in Berkley's large bedroom in LA, watching a marvel movie they had agreed on on her large flat screen tv. Dylan had been staying at her house for the weekend since he had no filming to do and her parents didn't want her home alone, so they let him stay. Even after being scared and nervous, the Washington's liked Dylan and had even invited him over for dinner when he could.
Dylan was so focused on the film in front of them that he didn't notice that Berkley looked worried, her face scrunched up in thought as she stared into space. Big ideas and thoughts were racing round in her head so after a long while, she voiced them.
"What do we do after this?" Berkley asked, tracing patterns across Dylan's bare chest as he cradled her in his arms. It was really hot so it was explainable that Dylan was shirtless, just wearing shorts and Berkley was wearing a short floral romper. But still, the both of them loved being so close together- it made them feel more like one.
"What do you mean?" Dylan asked, his eyes flickering between the screen and his girlfriend's beautiful face. She looked up at him with does eyes and sighed, trying to explain.
"I'm done with school. You're an actor. I'm going to god knows what university in September and you're going to be filming. And I'm going back home in two and a half weeks!" Berkley announced in a frustrated manner, not knowing how to vent without getting angry. Dylan shushed her a bit, gripping her sides slightly.
"Don't worry Berk- we will figure it out." Dylan's words didn't really calm Berkley down as she then continued to talk frantically.
"But how?! Your work schedule is crazy, I live in London, the paparazzi will end up finding out about my history and I don't think I can do long dist-" The caramel girl's speech was cut off by Dylan's lips against hers, moving in sync with hers. It was a short kiss but it left Berkley wide eyed and confused at his spur of the moment action.
"Berkley listen. Wherever you are- I will come. Even if it's just a visit, I will come. Fuck the paparazzi because I'm with you not them, so who cares what they say because I know the truth. Honest to God, with all my heart, I will stick by you and make us work because I love you."
"I love the fact that you try not the leave your hair clips about because I always step on them, I love your cute drunk laugh, I love the fact you hate sushi even after we had dinner there and you said it was amazing and I love the fact you love me." Dylan brushed Berkley's curls away from her forehead and kissed it, sending happiness all over her body. She blushed, looking up at him through thick lashes.
