Im not Maddie

Mackenzie's Pov.*****

"Beep beep beep" my alarm rang. Ugh another Day of Dance! I ripped my warm blanket off of me and the cold air in my room quickly surrounded my body making me shiver. I sat up straight in my bed while my eyes adjusted to the light. My feet hit the cool hardwood floor as I stood up. "Kenzie lets go!!!" My big sister Maddie yelled from the kitchen. "I'm comin!!!!" I whined back. Not caring I picked out a blue aldc crop top and some old blue aldc shorts. Yawning I threw a T-shirt, some booty shorts, deodorant, and whatever else I needed for dance in my bag. I grabbed my phone and ran down stairs just in time. Grabbing a banana I ran out the door and hoped in the back of my moms mini van since Maddie was already in the passenger seat.

Maddie and I ran inside the aldc right as Abby screamed "pyramid time girls!" Maddie walked in with Chloe and Kendall and I walked in with my best friend Asia. When we were 7 mrs.Abby mads us compete against each other which was awful because for a time we were enemies but we got through it and became best friends! "Kenzie your hair!" Asia said In a panicked tone. My hair was down in its messy, bouncy curls and everyone knew it was a rule that your hair was to be up at all times. "Oh gosh thanks ashie" I said as I threw my hair up in a messy bun. "Okay girls on the bottom the pyramid we have Paige, Nia, Kendall and Brooke. In the middle we have Kenzie, Asia and Chloe. And on the top as always we have the perfect And one and only Maddie Zeigler." We all clapped for my sister. " Mackenzie when Maddie was your age she was winning national tittles and dancing with people twice her age. I always hoped you would have done the same." Mrs Abby said I just nodded. I am so sick and tired of people always telling me I had to be like Maddie! I'm not Maddie I'm Mackenzie! "Okay I have surprise!" Mrs.Abby whisper screamed. " Maddie, Chloe, Brooke, Pagie, Kendall and Nia, you will all be moving up into me senior Company!" They all cheered. "Mackenzie and Asia, you will be going to my other 9-15 competition team!" Mrs Abby announced. What no I can't be on a team without Maddie! I would be expected to be the new Maddie! Oh great this is gonna be a long new competition season.
