Calum shifted in his uncomfortable spot on the couch. The jingling of keys in the lock of the door woke him up and he rubbed his eyes.

"Where is my son?!" Liz yelled once she got inside the house.

Calum checked the time on his phone, reading "11:46," and got up slowly, finally standing up considering it was almost noon.

He caught site of Liz's blue eyes that were identical to Luke's and Calum almost had to look away. He didn't know what the hell he was thinking last night.

"Hi, how was the trip?" Calum greeted sweetly once Luke's parents noticed him.

"It was interesting," Andrew said, "not very fun since we were surrounded by my snotty coworkers the whole time."

Liz laughed and looked at Calum. "Where's Luke? I'm having withdrawals."

"Probably still asleep," Calum smiled timidly and looked down at his shoes.

"No, I'm not," Luke chirped as he walked into the living room with a wide smile before bringing both his parents into a hug, Liz's lasting a little longer. "How was it? You guys didn't call even once," Luke said.

"It was fine and we didn't want to interrupt your time with Calum," Liz said.

Andrew nodded. "What did you guys even do here while we were gone?"

Calum continued to look down at his shoes while Luke jokingly said, "Wasted our lives away on the internet and ate all the food."

Andrew laughed. "Okay, we're gonna go unpack."

Liz ruffled Luke's hair lovingly before both parents wheeled their luggage away.

Calum finally looked up at Luke who was already staring at him blankly. Calum reached out to Luke, "I'm sorr-"

"You can go home now."

The tanner boy was going to say something else but decided against it as he just nodded and went to look for all his things. In a matter of maybe five minutes, he was out of the door. He didn't go home, though, deciding Michael was better company than Calum's dad who seemed to make it a point to treat him like a doormat or his mom who just ignored him. The only reason she called while Calum was staying with Luke was because his sister, Mali, probably told her too.

Calum lugged his backpack on his back as he knocked on the colored haired boy's door. Michael opened a few minutes later, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "It's so early. Why are you here?"

"It's noon and I don't wanna go home." Calum walked passed Michael who moved to let him in and followed him down to the basement.

Michael noticed Calum's sigh as he dropped his bag to the floor and plopped down on the couch. "You okay?"

"I like Luke."

Michael froze for a second and stared at Calum, "Like, really like?"

"Really like. I fucking really like him." Calum dropped his face into his hands and fell sideways, digging his face into the sofa.

"Did you tell him?"

"Of course not. He hates me right now and I don't blame him." Calum sat back up and looked tiredly at Michael.

"Do I even want to know what you did?"

"I tied him to his bed and I... you know... except I hurt him. He told me he only wanted sex so I got mad and I was rough and now he won't even look at me."

"Jesus, Calum! Did he tell you to stop?!"

"Yeah, and I did! That's not the problem, I don't think. He's just mad."

Michael shook his head. "Because he likes you, dumbass."

"No he doesn't!"

"Yes he does! Go fucking kiss him or something! I'd bet you all the money in the world that he'll kiss back."

Calum growled and dug his face in the pillow again.

"Why don't you just go home," Michael patted Calum's leg, "come over later when Ashton's here. He'll probably handle this better than I can." The black haired boy laughed.

Calum nodded before leaving. The whole way home, he could only think about Luke.
