Chapter 5~ Oh hush...

*Kacie's POV*

And then, I manage to walk away backward while saying "021 556 5267" he smiles and I turn around and head straight to my car.

I woke up to the annoying buzz of my phone, signalling that its time to wake up. Usually I would have had my alarm on, but, it's smashed into prices and lying next to the wall from where I threw it one day. Oh well.

I decided to get up because I had school today. Monday. Ugh...

I got up and went to the bathroom. I turned the shower on and hopped in. Thankfully, warm showers in the morning always tend to wake me up. Heck, I'm gonna wash my hair, it's already wet so, yeah...

I reached for my towel and wrapped it around my wet-self. I quickly grabbed my iPod classic and plugged it into my stereo. The amazing song: 'Classic' by MKTO filled the room and I started humming along.

Once I reached my walk in wardrobe. I decided on wearing a light pink dress with my black Dr. Martens.

What can I say, it was my last first day back at school after the Christmas break.

I headed for the kitchen and grabbed some cereal and milk and poured them into a bowl. When I finally finished eating. I brushed my teeth and applied some mascara and nude coloured lipstick. To finish off the look, I curled the ends of my blonde hair into a beachy look.

Satisfied, I grabbed my school bag, phone, keys and wallet and then headed outside. Nina wasn't here today either 'cause she was staying at Bens, again. So I started walking down to the bus stop and to my surprise, a black car pulled over to where I was.

The window rolled down and a Irish voice spoke up.

"Hey, I figured that you would, er, want a ride?"

With nothing better to do. I hopped into his car. One Direction was playing but I quickly changed it. He noticed my sudden move but didn't say anything because he knew I WAS NOT a fan.

After what seemed like forever, I broke the silence.

"So, where are you taking me on our 'date' tonight?" Putting air quotes around the work date. I know it's strange to have a date on a Monday, but at least that means I don't have to spend all night with him.

"Surprise."

"Okay, so let me get this straight. You beg me to come on this date with you, and then you won't even tell me where we're going?!" I say very annoyed like.

"Yup."

"Well, whatever gets you to sleep at night."

As soon as we arrive, I say a small thanks and gap it out of the car. I run into he school and bump into a very tall, skinny, handsome, blue eyed, brown haired, olive skinned, beautiful boy. He is he new kid. I'm guessing.

"Hey, I'm Matt and I'm the new kid." He states.

I was correct.

"Hey, I'm Kacie and I've been going to this school since today. I'm new too. I moved here during the summer."

We start talking and I invite him to eat lunch with me and Nina and Bianca and some more people which I don't know. He agrees and then we walk off to our first class of the day.

The day goes quite fast an before I know it, it's lunch. Everyone ones to the cafeteria and I go to the salad section (no, I'm not on a diet, I just LOVE salad. Strange. I know...). I head over to the table and then Matt follows behind. All eyes in the cafeteria are on us, probably because they are the 'populars' which is what I heard Nina mention a couple of times. Once we all know each others names and numbers, the bell goes and we head off to lunch.

I pick my phone out of my pocket and I receive 2 texts.

Hey, it's Matt. This is my number. Catch up on Friday? My Friend (not at this school) has a gig at the Mid-London stadium?

Hey and yes omfg I love gigs. Haha, yeah sure. Xx K

I arrive home and Nina FINALLY gave me a ride. We chatted a bit and I told her everything new with me, Niall and Matt and school etc. she told me about Ben and them I went to take a nap.

I awoke with 2 hours to get ready for my date. I turned the shower dial on and hopped in. I washed my hair again because I had P.E. today and I'm all sweaty. I got out and went to my wardrobe while my iPod was playing.

I chose mint green wash high waisted shorts, a black crop top, my black Dr. Martens and my silver locket that my mum gave me when I was 8. Lets not get into all of that sappy stuff yet though.

I applied some mascara and eyeliner before finishing the look with some baby pink lipstick.

Niall should be her in a few minutes so I started heading down.

To my surprise, Niall was leaning against his car in some Black Converse high-tops and dark jeans with a white top. Which by the way, made his tones body look hot. I reached his car and he opened the door for me.

This night might now be as bad as I thought.
