Chapter 2

Rose's P.O.V

I sat back and relaxed trying to think but it made my brain hurt. I tried not to think to hard but I just ended up day dreaming. Then eventually falling asleep.The nurse came in a woke me up and told me she had to put a needle in my back. I didn't really question it even though it was really random and plus I was super tired it had to be at least 3 am. After she was done inserting the needle in me she had a weird smile on her face. It kinda creeped me out but again I was to tired to care. I could feel the liquid travel through my body. It made me even more tired then I already was and I just fell on my pillow and fell asleep.

Nurses P.O.V

I hope it works I thought to myself. I've been trying my whole life to see if my invention could cure it and I hope that those things can't get her until I know if it will work. Little did she know the five months shes been here something has happened here, something unexplainable. I stroked her long black hair hoping that that stuff I gave her wouldn't kill her because honesty I didn't know what it would do. I looked out the window and saw three of them outside just wandering around like they were on a weird drug. I didn't know what they were and how it spread across the nation so fast but my mission was to keep this girl safe and to find more people and nothing is gonna stop me especially not those things.
